Hooters

The wings and curly fries were amazing. The kitchen staff really nailed that, and it's what they do. We saw crawfish on the board when we walked in. Being from Louisiana it was only right to evaluate it, and it was cooked ok but VERY bland for us. Not just mild, but not seasoned at all compared to what we are used too. But not everyone eats seasoning the way we do. Servers Rachel and Jennifer were VERY good servers.

They place was dead during an NFL playoff game. Maybe a dozen people in the entire place. Hostess was great and super friendly. We got seated and after a decent wait the hostess came back and got our drink order. After another decent wait the hostess apologized and took our appetizer order. Finally our waitress shows up and takes our order but it was the hostess who eventually brought us our food. We were missing ranch we ordered and had another lengthy wait before the waitress shows up. I ask for ranch and a refill on my drink and she disappeared for another decent period before showing up with my ranch and drink now my kid needs a refill and we start this process again. Ugh. If it were slammed I would understand but this place was dead at 3:45 on a Saturday during an NFL playoff game.

Not Recommended! Cesar salad, blah. Supposedly made fresh daily Cole Slaw, turned & smelled nastly. Smoked wings, barely smoked & tasted kind of stale. Service also left much to be desired. With the exception of when I first walked in, had to flag down the server for anything I needed. Then when the bill came, she tried to charge me for that Cole Slaw of which I didn't eat a bite. Also, this Hooters has a new design and layout and doesn't feel like a real Hooters. Feels more like any new chain restaurant/sports bar. I was just at a Hooters near Austin which was great on all accounts. I would not recommend or come back to this one in Irving.
