I love this restaurant group. I love this location more than the others. It is the staff that makes the difference. You feel like you're coming home to family. Of course they serve the same amazing Tex-Mex that we've all come to expect piping hot and perfectly prepared. Now if you're a tourist from out of town this is the place you want to go for the original Tex Mex recipes

Beautiful Restaurant with very good food. They have been in business since 1918! They are still short of staff since reopening from pandemic closures, but we spent the extra time enjoying the beautiful decor. The food was very good, and of good portions. We shared a giant chocolate and caramel sopapilla that was absolutely wonderful! If we lived here, we would visit often.

We came in the early afternoon when it was not busy. Only two servers in the whole restaurant besides the two hostesses. When we arrived there were a total of 3 tables. When we left maybe 11 tables still with only two servers. I give the food maybe two and half stars. Our food came out quickly. And it was hot which was nice. We got the appetizer platter as well as one of the combo meals. I will say sadly the chicken in everything was bland and dry. And the ground beef also not seasoned. Most of the time I can polish everything off but this time I could only eat half of the food. Maybe the kitchen was having an off day, short staffed, or they were getting trained. Will update if things improve.
