HANDS DOWN Thai Kitchen makes the BEST Thai food in Orange County! All other restaurants pale in comparison. The lady who works the front counter is the sweetest and hardest working woman I know besides my mother. She always seems to recognize me, maybe it's because I'm the only one to order pork fried rice and chicken satay. The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. They even cut the chicken satay in pieces to make it easier. The pieces are so dry and flat at other places, not here it is pretty thick and juicy with a special marinade. Also gives you an assortment of sauces. Highly recommend going here, I live two cities away and still try to make it here for my Thai food needs.

Pretty average Thai food. My friends who rarely eat Thai food were all very impressed while those of us who have had good authentic Thai food were underwhelmed. 3 stars in the food, but 4 stars overall. The portion sizes were generous (especially the pad thai), prices were reasonable, the staff was very friendly, and there was a nice quiet atmosphere. Would recommend if you're looking for affordable thai food that is decent in quality and has generous portions. Note* I am by no means someone who can handle authentic Thai/Vietnamese/Indian food level of extreme spiciness without breaking a sweat after a few min. But I do enjoy spicy food from time to time. My friend I both asked for medium spicy for our dishes (Ruby Siam and Yellow curry) and found them very mild with little to no spice. So you may want to ask for a higher level of spiciness than you normally would at other restaurants. Spice levels include: not spicy, mild, medium, spicy, and extra spicy.

The Tom Kha soup (coconut milk soup) is a stand out in all of Orange County. My sister from New Mexico had one requirement on a recent visit to Orange County. THIS soup only at THIS restaurant. The flavor is intense and perfectly balanced. It passes my test of "every next spoonful is with great anticipation". Ask the manager about who tried to buy the recipe. Thai Kitchen said "no". Fun story.

Our favorite is the BEST Thai chicken noodle soup #3, which is only served during lunchtime. Excellent family/owners that treat you like a member of their family and are always delighted to see you. Vegetarian options are available in Thai cuisine, and lunch and evening meals have all been excellent. I hope you check out Thai Kitchen if you're thinking about eating Thai food.

We love supporting our local restaurants and have been going to Thai Kitchen for over 10 years. Situated in a strip mall off the beaten path is where you will find this gem. Our favorite is the Thai chicken noodle soup #3 which is only available during lunch hours and it's the BEST! Great family/owners who welcome you like you are part of their family - always happy to see you. Thai kitchen has vegetarian options as well and everything we have eaten, be it lunch or dinner is always flavorful. If you are considering Thai food, I hope you check out Thai Kitchen.

I came in for dine in ordered a Tom yum soup and pad woon sen noodles. Really enjoyed both the dishes and ordered more for to go. The wait staff is quite polite, there were only 2 people upfront was quite busy with online orders but servers were paying attention to the guests. Only negative is that you have to wait a while for food to arrive, but since the food is delicious waiting wasn't a problem. I would like to visit again. Side note: There were puters from Thailand as decoration, they looked nice.

Look, this restaurant is great and had amazing food with great spices! The other reviews complain about wait time but the owner is an old senior lady running the whole restaurant so cut some slack for the restaurant. There is a wait time but that’s only because people order more and more food because of how good it tastes! It truly is an mini Thailand in the heart of Irvine! Amazing food and EXTREMELY NICE OWNER!! She was so nice and Happy and made all my meals WITH NO ONION OR GARLIC AND NO FISH SAUCE or anything non vegetarian sauces! I’m definitely coming back and eating their delicious food! But make sure to book ahead of time if you want to be seated right away if not then you might have to wait 20-30 minutes for a table on a Friday night when I visited!
