Lick

It’s so hard if not impossible to find an ice cream shop that doesn’t use ingredients like gums and carrageenan to thicken their ice creams. I finally got the opportunity to come up to Indy and gave Lick a shot. I went with chocolate because I wanted to try something simple and that I knew I would like, and wow- talk about insanely creamy and delicious. Any time we are near Indy we will be back!

Delicious awesome ice cream flavors!! I have been looking for an ice cream place with interesting flavors like I used to get at a place called Blank Slate in Ann Arbor. The owner was super nice and let us try everything. The lemon curd ginger snap was fantastic and the malted milk jam was awesome too. Will come back! Edit: the seasonal tiramisu was to die for as well. Such great fresh ice cream that is very soft and stretchy.

My husband and I love Lick Ice Cream! We each got a milkshake from them after our rehearsal dinner and it hit the spot! We loved the flavors. I got dark chocolate peppermint and he got vanilla. The staff was so sweet and congratulated us on our wedding! The price was not bad and we both could not even finish our milk shakes but wish we could because they were so good!

I'm pretty sure this is the best ice cream in the entire world. My husband and I are both pretty obsessed with ice cream and we travel a lot, trying ice cream places everywhere we go. Lick is the absolute best. There are some really good ice cream places in Indy that I love and Lick is still way better. Their flavors are amazing and change frequently, it's always super exciting to try the new ones. I love love love this place. And I love that it's in the Garage hall now with way more hours of availability. Seriously, go here the next time you want ice cream. You will be so happy you did!

Yum would be an understatement for their ice cream. The flavors are definitely unique and different but they taste awesome! I will agree it's not as creamy as typical ice cream but it's creamy enough plus it was vegan. Also for the price, you get quite a bit of ice cream. Definitely under estimated their little cups. I was definitely a happy camper. This place is going to be super dangerous for me since it's in walking distance from my house! They keep their stations incredibly clean and have great people behind the counter to help you through their many many choices.

Unique flavors at this stall in the Garage Food Hall. I tried the Gorgonzola Candied Pecan based on other reviews - the gingersnap lemon curd wasn't there when I went otherwise that would have been my pick. The Gorgonzola ice cream had a deep and rich dairy flavor, while the candied pecans gave a touch of sweetness and spice - very decadent but not too sweet. I gave 4-stars because I couldn't get a cone that day. I'm not entirely sure why but it was crossed off the board. I'd go back again to try something else (hopefully they have cones) but wouldn't make it a regular stop because of the parking situation - I don't want to pay to park to just get an ice cream cone.

Definitely a must try place! Unusual flavours and very delicious. We tried Ginger lemon curd and Gorgonzola candied pecan, was just heavenly. I am already planning to grab some more later this week. Located inside Garage, a corner shop, definitely super crowded on weekends. They have around 8 flavours and of course cones , waffles reasonably priced. I wish they provide to-go boxes or lids for the icecream cups, will be much easier to just grab and go.
