It's not the biggest restaurant but the atmosphere is good and the customer service is excellent. The food tastes great and the portion size is reasonable. If you are into spicy food I would recommend ordering the vindaloo or Madras (chicken or lamb) available

We ordered a variety of dishes, it was fresh and delicious. The potions are large, value for money. This restaurant had a friendly service and is very clean.

Sharods uses the very best quality ingredients and produce such wonderful, completely delicious dishes.
The food is so tasty and presented beautifully; the people there are just so lovely and warm.
I have been eating here for nearly thirty years and can honestly say that I have NEVER once had a bad meal. They are family-run and genuinely care about giving an excellent quality of food and service.
Sharods is one of those 'gem' restaurants that the locals all know about....but now you do, too lol. The prices are great value, too!
This is a 10 out of 10 restaurant. Genuine UK customer and an honest review. (Mark).

Ordered a takeaway for the first time last night - lovely food, really pleased. Chicken was cooked to perfection and the prawns were huge and meaty. My dansak sauce was thick and had just the right amount of kick to it. Portion sizes are very good too, we were stuffed. Thank you Sharods!

Have been a few times. Very small, family run restaurant. Lovely food and very friendly service. Restaurant is small and popular, so it is necessary to book. At the end of each meal the owner/manager has given myself and my partner a free digestif (Baileys) and on leaving I have been given a box of Maltesers - nice touch! Everything is good and i really recommend

Really like this restaurant, which we have used for a number of years. Food is always great, and the service first class. It maybe small in size but please don't overlook it, you will not be disappointed.

This is a really lovely indian, i've been coming here for years with my family and always recommend it to friends. The staff really make you feel welcome! The food is great and isn't too expensive.

Disappointed. After hearing such good reviews I thought I'd finally try The Sharod out not sure why the service was poor. We booked a table and when we arrived it wasn't laid, not a problem, we were seated and waited and waited and waited then our crockery and cutlery were literally thrown on the table I though this is going to be interesting. We still had to wait for a menu. Finally someone came to take our order and instantly vanished without taking anything down and yet again we waited. Finally we placed our order well long story short the food wasn't up to the reviews given. There service was POOR and I definitely will not be going back nor recommending it. Should've gone to Macdonalds.

Lovely food lovely staff, my no1 Indian restaurant. I stumbled on this place after being severely let down by Bhangra Beat (south woodford), and what's joyous treat. The food is simply scrumptious so much so that I just could not stop eating!. The staff are super friendly with great knowledge of their cuisine which is massively helpful if you are a little unsure. <br/>I can safely say that I will not look to go anywhere else whilst this place is open.

This is a traditional indian restaurant so don't expect lots of neon lights. But for both food and service it really cannot be beaten. The staff interact with their customers and have even started posting photos of them on a facebook page. This is the best Indian in a 10 mile area give it a try if you don't believe me!!! I really don't think you will be disapponted.
