I've been there for the first time and it's a small shop, but it's so refreshing in there. Just got myself small little plant. Its called Calathea Insignis, such a beautiful looking plant. I was recommended by one of my best friends. The staff members are friendly and theres a coffee/tea shop with the plant shop. So cool. Hence; The Tea Garden.

This is a fantastic addition to Hythe High Street. If you're used to splashing boiling water onto a manky tea bag for your brew, this place will open your eyes as to what proper tea should taste like. They have a huge variety of loose leaf teas and coffees to drink in or take away as well as a good range of equipment. Owner Tertia is very knowledgeable about their produce and offers sampler cups for newbies. Try a Hythe Blend for a good 'standard' cup of tea, then explore Olong or Green Tea varieties - delicious!! Coffee lovers are equally well catered for - the flat white that I tried was streets ahead of anything that Starbucks produces and there are all the coffee varieties that you would expect from a quality outlet. There is absolutely nowhere in the area quite like this place for the serious tea and coffee lover - give it a try.
