Aja Sushi & Bento

Delicious gourmet bento boxes and beats the prices along Wakiki beach for takeout or dine in the food court. Makes it all adorable. Try the vegan japchae made out of sweet potatoes and don't expect a lot of spinach or carrots. After all- you're on the island 😀 . Two can dine generously here with leftovers for twenty-three dollars. . . Just purchase your Holo bus pass card and head to Alaoana Mall. You'll be in for a treat.

Aja is a bento mainstay. I can understand that those who are unfamiliar with bento may be surprised that the food isn't made fresh and will probably not be piping hot when you get it. And while Aja may be on the expensive side for a bento place, they compensate for that with customization and menu variety. I can also agree that Aja's food tastes different compared to both local places and Japanese places here on the island, but that’s part of what makes it unique. Plus, the amount of food is decent for the price.

This place is a must when going to Ala Moana Center and you are craving grab and go Korean food. For such a small food concession they do offer a lot of variety. It is perfectly laid out to easily spot what you want, order or grab, then pay without sending much time with the whole process. They got such a large assortment of freshly made Korean classics and more. There are little bites such as musubi or kimbap rolls and then there are little KFC - Korean Fried Chicken and even mini salads that you can just pick up on the fly. Need something more heavy, they offer ready made full size Korean bento assortments as well as build your own from the ready made food buffet that they dish out for you based on your picking. The place is very clean, everything freshly prepared and neatly packaged. Service is attentive and move quickly to get you on your way so don't waist your lunch hour standing in line waiting for your food. Check them out, I'm sure you'll find something that you like.
