Flamecake

Although the food was good, it left a foul taste in my mouth the way the owner treated his young staff, in particular in front of customers. Instead of educating them on ways to improve their performance, he just put them down and verbally abused them. The working environment was obviously very toxic and none of the young workers were half happy to be there. The young workers did a great job in doing their best during a busy time. The owner needs a reality check!

I can hardly believe that a place that makes pizzas this good has only a few reviews! We stumbled across this place after some retail therapy at Salamanca markets. Both my wife and me agreed it's among the best pizza we've ever had! Super thin crust, enough topping, great flavours, perfectly cooked in a woodfire oven by friendly staff. Do yourself a flavour and give them a taste test!

Wish I could give no stars to this business. We recently visited flamecake stall at salamanca markets, we waited one hour for our two woodfire sandwiches. On top of the wait time the manager treated his young staff atroushisly in front of his customers. One particular situation I note was the manager verbally absuing a young staff member for letting the pizza stand fall on the floor from a stronge gust of wind (because apparently the kid controls mother nature). Honestly, I regret not standing up for those kids.

Absolutely terrible service at the Taste of the Huon. The wait times were bad enough just to get a sandwhich, even though we were told 10-15 minutes, but the person who I assume is the owner and the way he spoke to his staff infront of customers was appalling. Then death staring customers who asked for a refund after waiting an hour for a sandwich and still not receiving food. Will never attempt to buy from you in future. One star is generous.
