Great to see a return to the yard. Amazing food, cheap cocktails and amazing service and venue. Favourite place in Hereford !

Went for a wander in Hereford and found this fabulous place. They’ve basically turned a car park into a glorious outdoor eating area with plenty of under cover seating to hide from the rain and patio heaters that will keep the chill off when the time comes.
I had the Katsu Burger which was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning as it’s summery and cheerful and the staff are excellent too.

Great meal out, food was lovely, everyone liked their meal. 1 bowl of chips was a bit cold and they kindly switch them out straight away for a hot bowl. Little pricey but was good food. Sadly you can't order hot food from the bookshop at the moment which was a bit disappointing

Tucked away just off the city centre, really nice ambience, you can order from menus at The Book Shop and The Burger Shop, along with The Yard bar. Good quick friendly service, I had a lovely vegetarian green dish, really beautiful and tasty, my friend had an egg benedict type dish, again, really nice. Definitely will go again for a light lunch.

Limited for choice mid week, drinks slow. Food really good, bit pricy for rustic style food. That said at least it was quality and tasty. Relaxed atmosphere. Would try again.

I had a steak which was one of the best I ever had (I'm French). I had a glass of Malbec to accompany the steak, it was so nice. I definitely recommend this place if you enjoy good food. I will come back!

Went here on a Saturday evening with friends.
We all loved the relaxed ambiance and the aromas of food cooking.
Food and drinks came quickly and the food was piping hot.
I had a small issue which the Manager dealt with very quickly, professionally and effectively.
Even though the chairs werent the comfiest i would 100% go back for the extremely tasty food, great service and very helpful Staff.
Looking forward to visiting again very soon!

Great for Covid compliance as seating is outside or virtually so. Great service from the Burger Shop staff but the Burgers are not as expected, good quality ingredients but I thought I had been given a childs portion by mistake. The Indian restaurant was closed for a week during my visit which was going to be my choice of grub so I was a long way to come for a "snack". Bag of chips on tbe way home was the answer. Will try again but needs to be a bit more of meal in terms of quantity.

Great place for Sunday lunch! Staff were lovely and welcoming. Burgers quite tasty and loved the rosemary chips!
