Mega Diner

been wanting to try this place since i saw a few months ago. 3.5 stars... i got the Chacarero steak sandwich the sauce was great, the beans and tomatoes were fresh.my only gripe is the steak could have been lot less chewy. it was kinda hard to bite through. i had a messy sandwich but a good one. the carna-sada fries was not my favorite.the meat taste like pot roast or boild steak. the teenage boys ate it, but they will eat anything...

First time here. It's a hole-in-the-wall / mom & pop kinda spot. The Waitress was nice & friendly, she was the only worker, along with the cook. She seemed frazzled a bit. We waited a while for our meal. Had the breakfast special for $5.99. The pancakes, delicious. My scrambled eggs were a bit cold & they ran out of sausage that was included in the breakfast special.

Been wanting to try this place,i finally get there.. and it was horrible.. the food wasn't as described in the menu description, the steak wasn't even chewable, every peice !! The eggs were good.. but i explained this to the server who had zero response, didn't even acknowledge that i had a issue.. its unfortunate.. Update.. june 21.. added pic as well ... whats horrible is instead of using this as a opportunity to right a wrong.. you choose to make accusations of me not dining there,you could have reached out to resolve this .. this tells me everything i need to know about the management there.. so i attached the transaction from when i ate there..

Really bad food over priced the owner Nuked my food in the microwave I ordered the Birria tacos and I got Pastor no cheese on it they told me they didn’t have the beauty I thought I asked if they could put cheese on it they said yes and they did not the side sauces and selection were sad and old looking I fear that I’m going to have a stomachache after this but I’m gonna eat it because I went after work and I went all the way home I should’ve checked the food when I was there shame on me

So we stopped in to have an early dinner and were a little hesitant because we've never had Chilean food before. All we can say is wow!! It was so good!! We had the chicken enchiladas, Chilean Shepard Pie, and a beef empanada. Everything had a wonderful taste. Our waiter was quietly sweet but very attentive. He came over several times to check on us!! If you are in the area or just passing thru, like we were, give it a try! The food is very different from Mexican food, different textures and flavors but good in a great way!! Also, the restroom was extremely clean!! You can tell business is hard right now with the covid restrictions but we all need to continue supporting these locally owned businesses!! Hang on Mega Diner, please hang on!! We're truck drivers and when we come back this way, we want to come see y'all again!!
