We have dined here many times over the last few years & the food & service have always been excellent. The food is always cooked with care & attention using the best ingredients & the portions are always very generous along with prices slightly better than others in the area. While they can sometimes get busy with takeaway orders, rest assured any slight delays are worth the wait! I suggest you try the special Chicken 65 dish as the chicken breast pieces used are huge & cooked to perfection. Don’t let the looks from the outside deceive you, this is the best tasting, best value Indian food on the Gold Coast & everyone who I have recommended this place to has agreed, but keep it to yourself otherwise I won’t get a table as easy!!

Amazing food that always tastes fantastic. This place is also very vegan friendly, and they take care to wash everything to ensure no cross contamination (I assume they do this with allergies too) they are so lovely and friendly, and we're very excited to discuss their food options and answer questions. We have ordered from here many times and tonight we ate at the store. The meals for dining and take away are very deliciously filling and as such very fairly priced. We have never had any bad experiences or issues with this place in the year we have been eating from here. Would recommend them to everyone.

We were impressed by the high quality furniture and glassware when we were seated at our table. The service was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the chicken tikka and meat samosa starters which were both very nice. Mains we had butter chicken and lamb korma and very impressed by the quality and flavour. So nice to find a good Indian restaurant that takes pride in their food. Looking forward to coming back here again soon

First time customers and I was very impressed. Don't be put off by the decor, the food more than makes up for it. Vegetable samosas, butter chicken and lamb vindaloo - Delicious! I will definitely be venturing more into the menu the next time I order. I always love going to Indian restaurants that offer different varieties of breads - naan, chipati, roti and so many more. We will be back!

I'll cut to the chase...this was one of the best Indian meals we have ever had! We have travelled from the UK to stay with my wife's uncle in Helensvale so this restaurant was very very local to us. We read all the reviews first & decided it was worth a look. Don't let the odd bad review put you off, this place was excellent...lovely staff & lovely food, perfectly cooked & not at all greasy like some Indian meals. Between us we had the beef madras, lamb jalfrezi, chicken saagwalla, chilli naan, plain naan, safron rice & jeera rice. It was all perfectly cooked, loads of flavour & just the right amount of spice...though they will ask you first how much spice you like. Hopefully we will be able to go back before we have to go back home to the freezing UK! Thanks Shivaly's...wonderful!
