Augustine's Bakery

From the onset, Augustine's Bakery was amazing to work with! We were planning a wedding from out-of-town, and they were in excellent communication. Everything was up-front and reasonable. They reached into my mind's eye and made the cake I had pictured in my head! And I should also mention, it was (still is, thank God for leftovers) DELICIOUS. Top five of the cakes I have had in 38 years of a dessert-heavy lifestyle. I am not a frosting person. I usually skip it. I would eat a vat of Augustine's frosting, and aside from the likely diabetic coma it would cause, would still have no regrets. Amazing, #1 best frosting ever. So, in summary, excellent communication, extremely reasonable pricing, talented baker and decorator, and you will want to be buried in their frosting. I don't want to get married again, but if I did, I would easily pick Augustine's for the cake.

I’m so glad we took time to try this local bakery. We love cinnamon rolls. We read previous reviews and that was the influence we needed. Very soft from edge to center. We had vanilla icing and almond crunch. Take time to enjoy local businesses. Very friendly owners, staff. We stopped before 8am on a Saturday. I’m sure the other products would be just as good in quality.

Lovely place with a great menu of specials and baked treats all at a real fair price. The Friday lunch with fried noodles, beans and dumplings sounded a bit strange to me at first, but it's heavenly - you MUST try it! I've only had the baklava from the bakery side, but it was incredible. Plus the folks are real friendly too and it's super fast.

The cake was great but the service was terrible. The man behind the counter treated me and other customers like they were stupid. I took the poor service fine but seeing the man speak towards two older couples with disrespect was horrifying. I would recommend the cake but not sure if it’s truly worth getting treated with that much disrespect when you are paying them for their service.

It's more than a bakery. It's a bakery with a restaurant. Daily meal specials are posted on their window and inside. The raspberry white chocolate scone is the best scone I've ever had. Hard and crunchy on the outside with muffin-like softness inside. The scone was delicious on its own, but was made extra tasty by the large sugar sprinkles on top. Very friendly.
