We struggled to find somewhere to eat that had room or was open. We tried several places with no luck then stumbled upon Brodies! And we were so glad the other places were closed as what a little gem!! The atmosphere was lovely, no one was crammed in, the staff were so lovely!!! We got parked right outside. But omg the food!!!! I'm so annoyed that we don't live anywhere near by and we were just passing through as the food is the best!!! I had the steak pie, hands down the best steak pie ever!! The meat was so tender and there was loads of meat!!! The gravy was perfect and the omg the puff pastry was amazing!! The sticky toffee pudding again the best!! I hope we get to come back again at some point as that steak pie was really the best xx

Have been friends with the oner for years always great food and exultant service ,had a family meal in bodies recently and everyone was served there meal at the same time 10 adults and 6 children.

My husband and l have just had the most amazing meal tonight in Brodies Restaurant, cooked by the Italian owner. The steak was incredible and the peppercorn sauce was out of this world. We would highly recommend eating here! We and our two labradors were made very welcome. So lovely to be able to eat out and take your dogs with you. Try for yourselves you will not be disappointed.

We had coffee and cake in here, staff were absolutely great but the decor felt a little thrown together and rather tired. However, the atmosphere was still nice and welcoming, a bit like a public house from the late 90s. A bit of a refurbishment to bring it up to date or to create a style would make it a 5.

Stumbled upon this little beauty by accident, OUTSTANDING!
Out for a bike ride with a couple of mates and were welcomed by the excellent staff. Warm, friendly and very professional.
The food was amazing, really tasty and cooked to perfection, worth every penny.
My mates had the steak & ale pie, and I went with the haddock and chips, was not disappointed!
And not to mention the fantastic dessert menu! The pavlova cheesecake is to die for!
We're already looking forward to our next visit!
