Subway

I had the breakfast sub deal where you get a drink as well and it was fantastic. Absolutely ideal if you are staying in the Travelodge above like I was. To be fair, if you choose to sit inside, the view over the Lake through the rear windows is stunning and it's quite relaxing. Young lady who served me was very nice.

Amazing staff working there, they were very chatty to us which is lovely and the quality of food was incredible, they impressively managed to fit into a footlong, all of the meat options and all of the salad options. The salad I had was wonderful, perfect amounts of everything. The chicken nachos were amazing, would highly recommend to try them. Even thought it may be quite hidden away, the friendliness of the staff and the food was fantastic.

If you are in the mood for a subway sandwich and are in Doncaster and you would like a view of a lake from the typical top notch subway tables then I recommend this place. .. although not all tables!! some face the car park which is less romantic but if you are taking your loved one to a subway for romance defo get the lake view. Its self seating so it will be pot luck if you manage to get one and it could be dirty from the last occupiers so then it would be a choice of dirty table but nice view or clean table but car park view, obviously choice would be difficult and very personal depending on your other half. Although you could ask for the table to be cleaned or take your own cleaning products. Sometimes the staff are too busy to clean them so you may wait a while. Essentially it's a subway, you know exactly what you are going to get ... Unless you have never been to a subway and that must be disappointing for you. I would recommend this place for first time subway eaters. Lunchtimes you do get a lot of business people coming in from the local companies. They are generally good natured and not to be feared.
