El Sol

Stopped here traveling through the town going back to Texas. We had a craving for Mexican food which is always hard to find outside our state. Was SO happy to find this place Absolutely DELICIOUS. Everything we had was so good. The chicken tacos and chicken sopes are very tender and flavorful over the beef. Would eat here again!

We have been eating El Sol for over 5 years and they never disappoint. For appetizers, we order the homemade chips with guacamole… you are not going to find ANOTHER RESTAURANT with HOMEMADE CHIPS! This is what separates this unique restaurant with the nearby competitors. Guacamole and chips arrived to my table warm with delicious flavor. Food is always fresh, attractive , and tasty! My family and I always order the Sopes de Carne Asada, Tacos de Carne Asada, Gorditas de Carne Asada, and etc. The Chocolate Molten Cake was good. In order for it to be called a Molten Lava cake, it has to have warm chocolate coming out of the center and it did! My family and I will never stop coming to El Sol for a lunch or dinner brunch. Service is good, she was nice and friendly. Something I would suggest: Update Google hours and answer the phone.

I've been here twice now and the food is phenomenal. However, after today's experience I don't think we will be back. Stopped in an hour and half before close to get a drink at the bar and good to go. Was told the bar was closed, no worries we ordered our to go food. While we were waiting 3 guys came in and were sat and served drinks at the bar. I've never had an experience like this and it was super disappointing. Especially since we do enjoy the food

Hmmm, no chips and salsa to start off. Weird but ok. Service was good. Don't know if it's standard but you get handed a red and a green sauce. Spicy AF. They ain't messin around. Very tasty. Vegetarian Sopes are freakin amazing. I want to bathe in them. Get them all in my face. Can we talk about this mural tho. OMG, so adorable.

Service sucked. No refills. Waitress never asked if we needed anything else. Chips and salsa was awful. You could telltale chips have been sitting out for awhile.the was chicken in the salsa it was disgusting. The table next to us was empty with dirty dishes still on it was like that when we arrived. When hubby was paying he mentioned how we did not get refills and only the the waitress said was " oh sorry about that." Very unprofessional not a happy customer

How can you get 4 different peoples order wrong. Wrong number of tacos wrong kind of tacos and the over an hour wait on refills. They insisted they couldn't even remove the chips and salsa from our check that's all we asked for. We all left hungry and thirsty. I'd definitely recommend you try someplace else.
