I do not usually leave negative reviews, but I was not impressed. Hardly anyone there, plenty of staff, waited 45 minutes or so for 2 orders of chicken strips and a grilled cheese sandwich. All of which came out burnt. The waitress offered to bring out more but we did not want to wait any longer. The waitress gave us some off the bill. So I do appreciate them for that. I only post because I felt it could of been avoided all together.

I'm not a fan of the type of onion rings they serve but the taste was still on point. Service was spot on, very attentive. BBQ pork was awesome and the chicken tenders were very juicy and delicious. We'll be back.

The grouper sandwich is the best I've ever had. Kudos to the chef. Would highly recommend.

Wish there hours were more dependable and for a newly rebuilt restaurant that it's hours were better... Coronavirus... Great food 👍 when you can get it!

This is a hidden gem in Chattanooga. Located on the Harrison Bay the Dockside Cafe is a great restaurant. There was a little bit of a wait but I was with a group of 7. The service is good. Food was delicious. I've been coming to this restaurant at least once a year for a decade now. Definitely worth a visit. And when your done eating go out back and feed the ducks and giant turtles and catfish the flock around the dock.

I knocked one star for price. I'll explain further below. Taste was excellent. We split two apps and a sandwich for our meal. Everything tastes great. The food was served quickly and hot. I think it literally just came out of the oven. No complaints on flavors. Convenience of location off the water or land is great. Desserts were yummy as well. I think all the food is about 5% too high. Example, I got the grouper sandwich for $12, but no side. I'd be fine with 12 if it came with a side or even 13 and a side, but just the sandwich for 12 was pricey. The seafood dip was $12, and had very little chunks of seafood. It had a great crab flavor, but very little meat.
