Great place in one of the many Halifax arcades. Wide choice of beers. Nice and quiet when we were in on a Sunday evening. Heavy duty metal seating outside was just my size!

Great food! Went during the opening week of the patio and the bartender/server made sure we were well taken care of on the rooftop. Excellent service.

22/08/23: back again. Still a great choice of ales. Sat upstairs this time as I'd brought the crew from work. They enjoyed it too. Also bought 2 more hot sauces as the one I got last time was outstanding!
04/06/23: first time here on a craft ale tour around Halifax. Bought some hot sauce for wedges. Can't wait to try it when home. Really good selection for craft ales here. Plenty of space to chill and enjoy.

Dukes is such a cool place to go for quality drinks served to you with friendly smiles and a great atmosphere. Love the mix of music and especially love the range of board games free to everyone to play! Can't wait to visit again!

An absolutely spectacular place for a cheeky bev! There is something for everyone at Dukes, and always something new to try!
Not only are the bevs delicious but the atmosphere is wonderful! Elly, Sean and Lucy behind the bar are the absolute best! Would honestly go in for just a chat (but can’t resist the line of taps!)
They always have exciting and fun events which positively impact the local community.
The best pub in the world!!
P.S it’s dog friendly!!

A new addition to the portfolio of quality bars opening in Halifax. Very dog friendly & great selection of beers & lagers, in addition to excellent selection of Low / No alcohol lagers & beers. Great future for this bar, which will attract a great crowd. Experienced great service & Benson was looked after, with a small bowl of gravy bones on arrival. Thank you guys, see you next week, my other half his going to love this place. 👍
