Subway

Back in the summer my son and I stopped in to grab a quick dinner during our Epic East Coast Road trip. As we approached we could see the young gold-chain wearing Subway employee busily going about his floor cleaning routine inside. As we entered he quickly put the broom aside and washed his hands, and donning the gloves he cheerfully asked us our order. The order was put together rapidly with generous toppings and despite minor confusion from my son, who mumbled his topping instruction, the two meal deals were complete. To this day my son talks about the Halifax Subway Hip-Hop experience! In fact, I have it on good authority there is an animated YouTube short about this, check out "halifax subways" . Bravo!

Sadly, a lot of Subway restaurants around the Halifax peninsula aren't the best. Lots of problems with running out of ingredients, stinginess with fixings, things like that. But not this one! One of the better locations I've been to! Never out of anything, run well, good staff who know what they're doing. I won't say no to this Subway.
