Had a fun time, there was a ton of us and server was a bit cranky lol however we still had fun. Drinks were great. Food was good.

Dropped in on a Wednesday evening to listen to some music and grab a bite to eat. The music was great and the food was good. The nachos were massive and the toppings very generous.
It wasn't too busy so the servers were very attentive. As soon as we finished our drink and didn't want another, we were served our bill. As we wanted to listen to a bit more music, having spent a fair amount of money, we stayed at our table for a bit longer.
Music starts at different times depending on the day and the musicians can be found on the website.

We popped n for some drinks and music a couple of weeks ago when we were in Halifax. We didn't eat here.
It had a fun atmosphere, but we left early. I always like to drink in historic pubs when I can, so I enjoyed that aspect.
The music was great, though it was all cover songs.

Power hour busy as expected, (haven’t gone on another day) but service was still solid. Just don’t expect sitting room if you show up at 9! Guy at the door gave my friend a hard time with her ID which was annoying…

Great east coast atmosphere. Live music, wide variety of beers and drinks for all types. Good snack menu too. We didn't eat anything though so next time.

Landed here for a drink and to enjoy the live music, which was great! Found the service to be quite slow though, friends that joined us ended up just going to the bar to get their drink. If you’re looking to actually have a conversation with the people at your table, you may need to dine elsewhere as the live music as it is quite loud.

The atmosphere at the split crow pub is phenomenal and the history of it being the oldest pub in Halifax is also cool!
