Super Rude employees & owner! Make sure to ask for a receipt they try to scam you! And when i went back to tell him he over charged he wasn’t much help he told me to leave his store after standing there showing my receipt.. absolutely disgusting hospitality and customer service. Never going here again.

I live about 2 blocks from this 7-Eleven, and I drive across town and waste my gas to go to a decent 7-Eleven. Business owner thinks because its a 7-Eleven he can run it like a dictatorship. PLUS NOT HAVING EMPLOYEES WEARING MASKS!! All good businesses start with a good staff. Customer satisfaction is what made your company well known in the first place, now your only known for convenience and unprofessionalism. Previous ownership had a great sense for customer satisfaction, connection with the community and growth back in the 2000s. All good things come to an end. #TheTruth #GoToAnotherLocation

In past when I ask him to put it on he would but for some reason today he said he couldn't wear the mask because he was drinking coffee. I finally stopped asking him and paid for my items, as I walked out he said "Don't come back"

I was craving a Sprite so I visited this shoddy 7-11 and boy did I leave disappointed. I went to go pour my drink and it was some cola. Devastated. I let em know. The guy behind the counter checked the situation and then gave up. He said something must be wrong with the machine. Probably won't be back.

Convenient location and good selection. The cooled grill items sit way too long if you get there too late in the afternoon. Late morning everything is fresh but it sits cooking all day and becomes inedible. The coffee is always great which is primarily why I come here. I prefer 7 eleven coffee over Dunkin and definitely over the very overpriced coffee at Starbucks. I’ve been coming here for years and until about two months ago I’ve never had a complaint worth bringing up. But recently I stopped in to buy the news paper. I always use Apple Pay every time I go. This time I was told I have to pay cash or at least buy any one item if I wanted to use my debit card linked to my Apple Pay. I understand that it costs merchants money to run a credit card but it’s such a small amount and I am a very regular customer they should let me use my card. I put up a little bit of a fight and they let me use my card. I think it’s ok and understandable that retailers have minimum purchases to use a card but I spend several hundreds of dollars a year at this store and they know it. I’ve been there at least 50 times since this happened and never had a problem. A few days ago I went in to buy a coffee and use my debit card with Apple Pay like always. I was told if I’m just buying a coffee I have to pay cash. I simply said “no I’m using my debit card and she let me. If this continues I’ll go elsewhere. There’s a 7 eleven close by no matter where I go so this wouldn’t be an issue for me. Got it together 7-Eleven of Hackensack or you will lose your loyal customer base.

This is the worst 711 i have ever experienced i got treated terribly when i asked how old was the pizza and i was being nice and got treated indecently im completely dissapointed everything was old and stale I do not recommend this 711 to anyone at all in newark they treat customers better it just says alot about who owns this location and the people they hire .. and i hate to say this its not anything racial but it is i always get treated better by black americans this sandmans where terrible. I provided a picture above of the stale pizza they sold me thry wouldnt make a fresh pie.
