Rosa Mexicano

The girls and I got together for Cinco de Mayo and chose this spot. When I arrived I didn't locate the restaurant right away because there was no sign. It is located in the shopping plaza next to PF Chang. I walked in and gave the reservation name. The DJ was bumping. I wanted to sit by the bar area but there were no available tables. We were sat and served by Elena and she was very nice and not frazzled by the busy restaurant. I started with the red sangria and I will say it was good but it was a bit pricey for a small cup of sangria. I then had a frozen margarita and that was a bit weak. We ordered different entrées and I got the shrimp tempura tacos and they were quite small and not filling. One of the girls got a noodle shrimp meal that she sent back because she didn't care for it and got salmon which she liked. The chips and guacamole were good. The food also took quite a bit to come out as well. I expected a little more fun for Cinco de Mayo but it was an ok experience.

Always a great experience here at Rosa Mexicano, this time my server was Elena S. Second time in this location and food is EXQUISITE! My husband says that every bite taste just like his mother's cooking back in Mexico. (There's one thing missing in this restaurant and it's AGUAS FRESCAS! Lol) I hope next time I go they added it to the menu!😉

This place used to be great, until they changed the menu for some unknown reason. What used to be really tasty, flavorful and eclectic entrees such the beer battered fish tacos are no longer, having been replaced by bland, boring dishes that maybe appeal to children, but no one with a palate more sophisticated than an 11 year old. We won’t be coming back anymore. Rule number one of the restaurant business was broken.

I love the service there and the bartender is so incredibly polite and kind pertaining to his or her professionalism and I have not been there in three weeks and I really want to go there one of these days to order a nice meal with my peeps. I love the atmosphere and the ambiance since there are many nice people there to always brighten my day and I will turn my frown upside down so I can get a nice and refreshing glass of water from Adrien and I really miss Javier and Cynthia and many more. I am looking forward to coming there one of these days to hang out when the time is right since the weather is getting warmer.
