What an incredible dining experience! Houston’s is a classic - from the ambiance to the wine to the food. Everything is clean and nice. One of my favorite parts of my latest meals at Houston’s was the service. Our waiter was kind, full of recommendations, and accommodating. He helped us have the perfect night! As for the food, the steak is to die for! One of my favorites from the menu is the grilled artichokes. Unreal! The remoulade that came with it was just amazing!

We ordered smoked salmon as starter, tuna salad and Hawaii steak. Salmon was slightly more peppered than before. Instead of French fries we got kale salad. All was delicious! Nice intimate atmosphere and fast service. Definitely, our fav place to come!

A considerable wait since we had a reservation. Dress code compliance is not well enforced but don't test it by being a slob. The prices are like Morton's and Ruth's Chris and they shouldn't be letting people in dressed like they just were changing the oil on their car. If you want to be in the same "special occasion dinner" restaurant category, you need to enforce your dress code. The Hawaiian steak and the trout were very good and the stuffed potato is a recommended side item.

I would’ve given a 1-star rating, if it wasn’t for their manager, Sapphire. My coworkers and I made a reservation for a party of 4 on a Tuesday night (when it’s fairly less crowded). 1 more coworker ended up wanting to join, so we called Houston’s to see if we can add 1 more to our reservation. The lady who picked up sounded rude, and let us know we would have to give up our reservation if we don’t stick with our original reservation. We said that was unfair and was about to ask to speak to the manager when she herself actually got on the line, apologized for the disappointing service, and this was an unacceptable behavior on their end. She made sure that she wanted to greet us personally when we came in, and that she would assign us one of the best servers for us to enjoy our night. Food was of course delicious. Things may not go the way it’s supposed to be during a hectic and busy night, but the little yet detailed customer service makes up everything.

I’ve been coming to Houston’s with my family for over 10 years. I am saddened to say the service from the hostess on duty 2/28 was awful. I had a reservation for 4:30. I called and said I was running late, I believe it was Michelle who told me no problem that she would put in a note. I arrive at 5:20. Granted, I expected to wait because I arrived much later than my reservation. My grievances occur when the host Nate tells me I would only wait a couple minutes. He took many other groups, so I became curious and asked when I would be seated. He told me I would be next. After telling me this, he seats a party of 4. I ask Nate, I thought I was next? He proceeds to tell me, “I’m waiting for 2 tables and the party that just got up was a bigger table.” Nate said this very rudely, with no smile or apology for the miscommunication. I understand the restaurant seating aspect of business, but I was very dismayed by his poor manners and communication as a host in such a fine dining atmosphere where I am use to exceptional service. After telling me I was next, Nate proceeds to seat another party of 2, and I ask why the table wasn’t for me and my guest. He tells me, “I didn’t know you wanted the tables next to the bar.” I was stunned. This should be something Nate should’ve asked, since I did have a reservation and the lady (Michelle was her name I believe) on the phone told me it was ok. I ended up waiting a bit over 45 minutes. The worst part was not the wait. It was Nate’s lack of professionalism. I have waited 2+ hours at Houston’s with no problem on several occasions, because the food is delicious and the service is exceptional. However, I am saddened to see this wasn’t the case. I hope Houston’s puts someone friendly and professional back at the front desk, as they have done so in the years prior. PS: Felicia was a great server, and the food was delicious.

Good, casual place for dinner or drink. Simple, consistent, somewhat basic but good menu. Tuna salad was amazing! Sandwiches and burgers not my choice ... we brought our own wine, that was excellent!

Always have a great time celebrating at Houston’s. We always order the salmon appetizer and spinach&artichoke dip. For dinners we do the Hawaiian ribeye, cheeseburger and ribs. Everything is so tasty and delicious. The service is also top notch. I will admit - it’s really hard to get a reservation which is sometimes annoying BUT the food is worth it.
