Shepherd pie was so tasty. Atmpohepere was also lovely. Recommend booking an outside table in the summertime for a sunset view. Everyone at the restaurant was so friendly. Highly recommend a nice date dinner with your loved one.

Romantic place ..we sat out side and watched the sun set next to the castle .. very lovely place for a celebration. Service was impeccable

Friday afternoon experience. Waiter was very good and explained the seasonal dishes. My friend is lactose intolerant so her options were a bit limited. The food was good qutand the restaurant decor was excellent with nice atmosphere. Would recommend

The experience is quite good. There was a good atmosphere and the decor is high quality. The smell was a bit strong when entering but was fine after a while.
The food and drinks were above average, tasted good but could have had a bit more flavour. Portion sizes were big, relative to other places of similar style.
Some of the servers were very nice and interactive and others not so much. Strangely we had two tables of 6 booked but they put us on other sides of the restaurant which was questionable.
I would probably go again and try other things on the menu for a nice occasion.

We had a lovely visit to the Ivy and our waitress was really friendly and chatty. Food was nice and we all left feeling satisfied. We visited mid week so it wasn’t very busy.

Tip: find a nice view. It makes a lot of difference. You can sit outside if you're going late spring of summer.

I just had an amazing experience! My girl took charge of making a reservation, which led us to a truly delightful afternoon tea. The view of the castle was breathtaking.
The three-tiered tea set, accompanied by the dry ice effect, was absolutely stunning. When it was brought to our table, I couldn't help but exclaim "Wow!"
I loved the scones, truffle mayonnaise brioche roll, and the mango & coconut smoothie. The other desserts were also delicious, but I'm not particularly fond of sweets.
The Hot Chocolate was simply tasty, with the perfect balance of milk and chocolate flavors, just the way I like it.
Vanilla Shakerato, served in a martini glass, which made the ice-cold espresso look extra stylish and refreshing.
It was such a memorable experience, and I'm glad we got to share it together!

We went here for afternoon tea to celebrate our grandson's 18th birthday. The decor, ambience and welcome were second to none with a contented hum of the voices of happy customers. When the "tea" arrived it was exquisite and equally delicious. The brioche with chicken enhanced with subtle hints of truffle the smoked salmon and cucumber sandwiches refreshing and more filling than one would expect. The middle tier of red velvet cupcake, scones, strawberries and clotted cream equally delicious. The top tier comprised a bowl of geraniums to which our charming servers added water and the dry ice secreted within sent out billowing clouds in a delightful surprise of theatricality.
There was a pistachio macaron and a tiny flowerpot of chocolate mousse with salt caramel and topped with chocolate soil. The smoothie of mango, coconut was rich and fruity. The whole experience was fantastic and well worth the price. The 18 Yr old loved it when they wished him happy birthday and gave him some strawberries and chocolate with a lit candle and we're going again soon. I can't recommend highly enough.

Food, decor and service was excellent although it was exceedingly noisy when full. Maybe some soft fabric wall, or floor covering, would help. Apple tart was my favourite pudding with a bit of a show and the flavour was excellent but I forgot to take a picture, could have done with a little more ice cream.
