Grimes Cafe

Sat down was greeted well , then they seemed to have forgotten that we were there. Food came extremely fast after ordering??? Our plates were drenched in water. The only thing warm was the rice. When asked about the cold food the lady clean tables ignored us when paying the bill she was extremely rude. Not sure if I would be willing to try them again.

7/1/22 Came to eat with my Daughter and was greeted by the hostess, we got seated and then ordered, the food came out right away which is good, but to my taste the food is very Americanized and blend, my enchilada sauce has no flavor to it. The waiters are on their phones and joking around running and being loud. One of the ladies did something to a waiter then they started chasing each other, the same ladie then punched an other of the guys that also work here looks like they have no interest of leaving customers with a good impression of them. I do understand the business is slow right now but still should be doing thing better so we leave with a good impression. They have no respect for customers as they also say bad words in Spanish and they do not care if you hear them. It is disappointing! Maybe that is why they are slow. I am a waitress by the way and never good act like to inform of my customers. My waiter was ok

Pretty fantastic new Mexican food place in Grimes. The chips and salsa they serve beforehand are delicious and fresh, and judging from my coworkers reactions the food is pretty amazing. Prices are very reasonable considering the amount of food you get. Which is very filling. The employees are very helpful and quick and our food was out in short order. Delicious and quick :)

Wonderful food 😋 and service....Angel was great...I had a great Birthday dinner...I can't believe I haven't made it there yet...We will be back..Thank you.. This time we went for my husband's birthday 🎂, again with my brother and sister-in-law. Good food and great service. El Huapango is becoming a tradition for our birthdays
