Stephanie's Ii

Absolutely loved the food! Whenever I come home to visit my family, we're going to eat here again. I got the Yams, mac & cheese, and fried chicken strips. Everything was cook to perfection. Chicken was juicy. It didn't take long for our food to come out. We asked to be seated in an area that didn't have too many people so they let us pick where we wanted to be seated. The portions are large so you'll probably have some food to take home too.

Food is okay. The yams were the best thing I’ve eaten from there. There real sweet and taste like butter. The Mac and cheese tasted eggy and like cheap cheese was used on it wasn’t seasoned good either. Not nearly enough cheese throughout the Mac. The fried chicken wingers were okay a lot of skin on them that’s not chewable. The cornbread wasn’t fresh and was very bland. I called in my order when I got there it was ready that was good.

One of the worst if not the worst places i’ve ever went to eat. First we sat down and were served with drinks and we ordered. The table was not even wiped down. The sauces came with the drink. I took a look at the sauce and it was re-used. There was a piece of leftover chicken just sitting in the ranch. I called the waitress over and she assisted me nicely by bringing me a new one although to my knowledge she didn’t bring attention to it to anyone. I got a new sauce and i take a look at it to make sure there’s nothing on it. There was pieces of small curly hair on the lid and greasy fingerprints all over the containers. I ended up ignoring it and hoping the sauces were new. I was sick to my stomach. The food comes. The fries are old. The hush puppies were still FROZEN on the inside. and the chicken tenders/fingers were fried in fish batter making them taste like fish. They were also extremely chewy. I left a full plate of food on the table. I don’t doubt they’ll use my food in another plate along with my sauce. Not only did i have this terrible experience; Everything was $35 for horrible food. Save your money and go to Cookout and pay half the price for better and properly cooked food.

The customer service was great and our food came out rather quickly! The restaurant itself is very clean, but could use a few updates. My only complaints about the food are that my greens were cold when they came out but our server had no issue replacing them with some fresh ones! The cornbread is a tad bit dry but still tasty. I would definitely recommend eating here, and I will absolutely be back soon!

Chicken breast was tender and full of flavor. Seasoned collard greens were meatless and had no oil. Yama/sweet potatoes tasted fresh cut. Great home cooking. 9stars. Thank you to our server Ms. Terry. The beeftips and flounder bites had the other guests satisfied and complimenting the flavor. Stephanie's will be a must have meal whenever in Greensboro.

First off my apologies for not taking pictures of the actual entree, I was that hungry but I made sure I took pictures of the sweets....LOL (of course) I met the owner Miss Stephanie and she seems very nice. The food I told her it was awesome. If you're not from the south is that old school type of taste that your mama was in the kitchen cooking which my was! I miss my mama's cooking! I miss my mam!, I had collard greens, broccoli & cheese broccoli, corn bread, the 9 oz salmon fillet with white rice, and macaroni & cheese. I've been crying out for some home‐ style food, that I am used to growing up with. Let me tell you the desserts: the fudge brownie with nuts and the banana pudding, man let me tell you, the banana pudding was so good!!! It actually tastes like banana, not with preservatives. The fudge brownies actually taste very homemade, in my book that's very good! I do hope that all enjoy when they come here not to have high expectations such as some of the negative feedbacks 🙂. But to each his own....I will be back! FYI: I didn't realize this until my associate had told me that she had left her wallet in the women's bathroom. She has such a large purse she didn't want to bring the large purse out the car, so with that she took just her wallet and accidentally left it in the women's restroom, which was only a matter of minutes. There was one of the people who work there that took her driver's license and social security card. I downplayed this to three stars because the Stephanie (owner)may be nice. But miss Stephanie you're harboring a credible! From what I was told my associate told me that Miss Stephanie was very upset. Not all and everyone there are thieves but please just be careful leaving yourself behind in her restaurant!
