Always a good atmosphere and great food. As usual a good Sunday roast was had by all. The bar service and table waiters could not be faulted. A great place to take the family.

Lovely pub. Canal side location. Food really tasty. Great to get food that the chef has cared for and prepared well.Little things like dressing on a side salad a simple thing but makes a nice change. Meat cooked to customers requirements.

The Pilot isn't a gastro pub, and probably isn't about to win any awards, BUT it is straightforward pub grub, the portions are good, and the prices are reasonable.
Very dog friendly, and has a lovely garden out the back.

Fabulous place, lovely food, friendly staff and local patrons. Diana, our waitress, was brilliant and we got to meet Ion, the chef, who had cooked the lovely food.
Looking forward to another visit.

Great experience on a Sunday with quick food and tasty, great atmosphere after a long walk and outdoor seating was great.

Stop here quite often. Kids and dog friendly. Good menu with all the standard stuff. Sat outside in the garden with views of the canal. Friendly staff and food was really nice.
