Sutcliffe's

I tried this butcher for the first time yesterday. While I thought I was getting quality I found when I got home that my lamb loin chops were missing the best part, the tails! Why would these have been removed when they are the main reason for buying them. Won't be going back for a second time, what a rip off.

Tuesday 4.50pm wife bought 2 t bone steaks. She drove home 5 mins away and put them in fridge. 20 mins later I took them out to cook. The fat was grey, after they were taken out of bag it was obvious they were off, slimy to touch and smelt off. Rang shop left message, e-mailed head office with photos. Today steaks were returned and replaced, no apologies from person portraying to be manager. The replacement steaks were also slimy, albeit not as bad as first ones. Disgusting to sell such sub standard inferior meat. I have owned and butchered my own meat, I'm proficient in knowing meat quality. This is a disgrace and to advertise to provide quality and then sell such sub standard quality meat on two occasions is very poor. Avoid the business!!

First time I have been there and will definitely be going back. All their meat was amazing but the one that stood out for me was the marinated pork cutlets. I think you should make them taste worse so that the rest of my family can share them with me. I wake up thinking about them and can't stop until I have one. I'm not fat or greedy they are just that good. Definitely try them everyone 😁

I have been shopping at your Glendale store for a while now and will continue to do so. Your selection of meat and other items on display are so inviting and even better are the staff you have. Not only are they all well mannered, polite and quick to serve but they are also very helpful. I have an autistic son who enjoys coming up to the counter to wave to the young couple that work there. On every visit they both make sure they say hello, talk footy with him and give him a sticker. Small gesture to some but for my son it makes his day coming and visiting his butcher friends. I hope this somehow circles back to the beautiful staff you have working in your store. I will continue to spread the word about Sutcliffe meats Glendale. I will not shop anywhere else.
