Five Guys

This is the best Five Guys when it comes to French fries. The cajun seasoning is real! You can see the bits and pieces of other seasonings I've been so terribly disappointed by other sister locations like the one off Chandler Blvd by the mall, and another across from Hamilton High School. Both of those locations use a fine powdered cajun seasoning that's absolutely disgusting and cheap tasting. So glad to have discovered this location.

Was my first time to a Five Guys. I was in sticker shock when we got the bill and thanked my lucky stars I wasn't paying. The fries were piled very high and tasted great. The burger was quite large as well (I had the bacon burger), they say well done and juicy. I'm afraid mine was medium - which I actually prefer - and juicy? Well, I think that greasy and juicy here are synonymous which is OK if you like that sort of thing, I don't like a burger that has a bun so sopping wet by the time you're halfway through that it's falling apart, just my preference. I enjoyed the music they pipe in even though much of it I didn't appreciate when it first came out. Was it worth twice the price of a Carl Jr's? I'm not sure it was. Would I go back? If you're buying.

It's a 5 star place at a 5 star price. We live up north and came to the valley. Went out on Friday night and every restaurant in Chandler/Gilbert was an hour wait. The news media keeps saying the economy is struggling. Lol. Not in the East Valley. Went to 5 guys. Two single burgers, 2 small fries, 2 small drinks. $43.00 dollars. It's a good burger but your gonna pay for it.
