Waffle House

Only got one star cause I had to to leave review... or would have gotten negative 1000... these people were rude when I walk to counter lady acted like she couldn't understand me ..mind you all I speak is English told me I had to wait wile she "added up her orders" whatever that means never came back to help me I stood there for 10 min... all the while there was 3 young ladies waiting for creamer for their coffee ( who were of the same ethnicity as I) she helped an older gentleman who was the same ethnicity as her( I probably do not have to tell you) I heard him ask her if she thinks she should help them first since they were there first. She said " I'm not worried about them" I lost my cool and left😤 to those young ladies who already ordered I feel for you and am very sorry your mother's day was ruined by this person I wish I could bring you home and fix a wonderful breakfast for you all.

We have been working all day long and wanted to sit down and get something other than truck stop food or fast food restaurant. Walked all the way front when truck stop to get food and was told that they have to clean restaurant and that they will not do any dine in. They let the store get dirty and did not clean up after each table so that they could shut the dine in section down and do minimal work for the last 50 minutes of their shift. I will not waste my time to come to this location ever again or suggest to stop at this location. Thanks for ruining my evening.

On the evening of 14 July 22 at 6:15 pm, I went to the worst Waffle House ever. The Georgetown KY facility #1288. At least 1/3 the tables had dirty old dishes and food. The floor had food all over it especially in the food prep area. The manager on duty, an African American female, spent the majority of the time yelling at someone on the phone about hanging up on her. She disappeared in the back but was so loud I could hear her every word. This went on almost the entire time I was eating. Additional customers came in and the only server, who was polite and apologetic, informed them the cook/manager was having a mental breakdown on the phone and didn't know when they would get food because she could not cook. The server spent a lot of time sitting at a table on her phone and talking to someone sitting in the "restaurant" instead of taking care of the facility. I don't normally leave reviews, however I was appalled.

I just left. The cook on the clock was a guy named Jason. He took my order and made me feel like I was more than welcome to dine at the Waffle House. Then he threw down, and prepared me an awesome meal in no time. When he wasn’t cooking, he stood center floor like one of the kings guard and welcomed people as they entered. This guy gave me the impression that he took his career seriously. So I got his name and told him he was doing great work. When workers are performing well, SPEAK UP and acknowledge it.

The food was good and the ladies were very nice. I had 2 eggs over easy,bacon,toast, and hashbrowns. I like mixing my eggs with my hashbrowns it's really good. I always have breakfast at a Waffle House when I get a chance. I wish more of them had big truck parking they would get more business for sure.
