Sidegate Gallery

Me my mam and sister visited the side gate gallery after dropping off the car for a vallet in Sunniside, Opened at 11.0am ,we were first in, lovely quirky place, also with a beautiful shop of nic nacs, homeware and clothes, we went straight to the restaurant, food was well presented, the lady and guy who's place it was were lovely, I had a lovely bacon sandwich, in a seeded brown bun, my sister had home made vegetables soup, she said it was delicious, my mam had fruit loaf toasted, huge pot of tea for two, lovely , coffee for sis. All in all lovely morning , I would recommend this place for all to visit, absolutely fabulous 💓 .

What a lovely quirky coffee shop within a great gift shop. Some fabulous and well priced jewelry are and home items g really tempting as you enjoy your drink. I had the feta and roast pepper quiche with a latte both absolutely delicious. Thoroughly recommend you drop in if you are in the area and be prepared to buy gifts as you won't resist

Live locally so have visited a good few times. Love the atmosphere, very homely, very welcoming, very comfy. Always have a good little range of sandwiches, soup etc and lovely cakes!! Coffee is good, just a great place to chat and chill. Plus the shop side of the gallery sells loads of interesting trinkets, clothes, etc...
