Collegiate Grill

I’ve never been there before. Never noticed it. Until a Friend was talking about it. So i wanted to go there and try it out! And I don’t regret eating there. In fact I’d go again. Open most days until 3pm. For a place that serves good food isn’t open for dinner. They have hand spun milkshakes in chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. And it’s worth it! Thick too. Fresh burgers. You can order half fries or full. Half is good to share. They have chili’s dogs, slaw dogs, chilies fries. It’s located on the Gainesville square. Go there yourself and get a something to Eat. It’s a 50s style dinner.

Hamburger was good but definitely prefer hot dogs over the hamburger. Cole slaw is awesome. The staff is great. It's one of my most favorite places to eat in Gainesville. They also have great shakes. Their French fries are similar to five guys fries. They are really good. I don't think this place has sny bad tasting food here!!!! I gave it 5 stars!!

We always love coming to Collegiate Grill, the burgers are so good and the slaw on the burgers it just makes it amazing, we keep coming back for more. Wish they had more on the menu, but I think that being able to perfect a few things and make them delicious sometimes better than having a bunch of stuff and just having it be adequate. I know they mainly stayed open during the day, but I wish they'd be open for dinner sometimes.

Collegiate Grill, how I love your chili slaw dogs! The soft grilled bun with crispy edges, the crunchy slaw and salty chili and a perfectly grilled dog is just a treat. I also adore your fries. Not the standard crinkle cut for you, no, these are delicious fries with a little skin on - with ketchup, Awesome with a capital A! We usually grab our food to go or eat it one of the lovely little tables right outside but I love the makeover too, y'all!! Your diner looks beautiful. Thanks for doing what it takes to be a local favorite!
