Designer Greens

They catered our grand rounds at UF today and the food was awesome. The salad was fresh and the balsamic dressing was excellent. We had various sandwich wraps. I had a smoked turkey wrap and it was very flavorful. The food is healthy, light and tastes great. I am the resident IT guy and I generally scarf free lunch during grand rounds and I have to say that this was by far my favorite free lunch that I have had here.

Very attractive nice lady was here on a Saturday. Good selection of salad items for customization. Nearly a A-Z selection. Fairly clean, restroom, TV, moderate space for dining inside. Be prepared to wait as this place is busy. They do have a selection of certain salad but for some reason they do not advertise it. Good eats and fair price for the cost of living.

This place is a great, healthy place to go have lunch. I have had several salads here. They aren't too cheap, but you get a huge salad with fresh ingredients. The menu offers a lot of variety too. I haven't tried the sandwiches, but they look good. I would recommend this to anybody who wants a healthy lunch.

I don't know what the people complaining about the service are talking about, I've always had good service and I eat here frequently so those must have just been unlucky visits. Food is quick, salads are huge and fresh, and the sandwiches are great. I've tried almost everything on the menu and am always satisfied. Half and half is the way to go. Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 is because I've never given a restaurant 5 stars in my life. This is easily my favorite place to eat in midtown and much healthier than the others.

The food is always fresh, well seasoned and great overall. The only thing that made this 4 stars is that they do not accept a pickup order over the phone if its not a 3 order minimum. It just made it inconvenient because I send someone to pick up my lunch so it would be nice to have it ready for pickup since parking is such a bare in that area.

Not sure what others have experienced but I've enjoyed Designer Greens both times during my visit. Just had the gorgonzola salad w/chicken and the turkey club. It was awesome as always. We were on our way back to Savannah from St Petersburg and detoured just to go to Designer Greens. This place is the bomb!!! I would definitely recommend to dine there. You will get your money's worth and its worth the $$ price!

This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to in Gainesville. It's extremely quick, and the employees are always very friendly. I am able to make all sorts of changes to my order without difficulty. Also, all of the ingredients are always very fresh. The location right across the street from the campus also adds to its convenience. I would suggest Designer Greens to anyone who comes to Gainesville looking for a reasonably priced healthy meal.
