Firehouse Subs

0/0 I ordered a medium corn beef with cheese only. I double checked with the register 3 times. When I returned to my office, my sandwich had all toppings. I had to drive back to returned with the receipt to which the manager yells out "it is not on the ticket?" I replied I asked the register 3 times! The manager then yells back at me to say Ma 'me calm down we are making your sandwich. Horrible customer service and response to a mistake made on their part. Not being on the ticket is irrelevant to the customer and my answer was in response to her unnecessary response. Then made it worst by basically telling me to shut up! Not appreciated. This is Gainesville FL 32608 location. 3221 SW 35th Blvd.

I had a free Medium sub as a birthday offer and wow was it great. If you sign up for their rewards, they give you a free medium sub in your birthday (expires 5 days after) and of course I had to try it out. The engineer sub had all the typical sub toppings (lettuce, mayo, some cold cuts) but also had sautéed mushrooms that were delicious and honestly surprised me. The whole grain bread was also great and everything tasted pretty fresh. It did not taste like something they microwaved in the back which seems to be more common these days. Food overall was great! Staff was also super nice and I definitely recommend firehouse subs and especially the engineer sub!

It's pretty tough to beat a good Firehouse Sub. This location was pretty empty on a Saturday night but still took about 10 minutes to get our 2 small sandwiches to us. Not the end of the world, but certainly not ideal. Friendly staff and a nice plus is the outdoor seating available in front. My wife and I both opted for a small sub tonight and with water to drink, the total came out to just over $11. We also used Bite Squad recently to order from this location and our sandwiches arrived just as requested. Definitely worth stopping in for, especially if you enjoy hot, steamy subs. So good!
