Santorini

Came here for dinner with the family this evening around 5:30pm. There was five of us (including a baby in a stroller) we tried putting the two children at the table right next to us to allow for extra space. The waitress came over and told us we had to sit at one table. We were literally the ONLY people in the entire restaurant. She said the owner watches the cameras. We were dumbfounded. I could understand if the place was packed and we took us space from other paying customers, but literally not a single other sole in there. We almost walked out- but stuck it out. After that hiccup, the rest of the meal went smoothly. The waitress was attentive and sweet and everything we ordered tasted good. It didn’t taste like microwaved Costco food (as someone else said lol) We would go back, but I would like for the owner to read this review and acknowledge it’s ridiculous to micro manage where people sit when the place is totally empty. We literally sat squished together in a smaller than average sized booth.

We went for a late lunch/early dinner at 4:30 on a Saturday. The waitstaff were very efficient in taking our drink order and keeping those glasses filled throughout the meal. We ordered falafel, a gyro, and a lamb kabob, all of which were very tasty and served with nice presentation. This is a nice addition to the other Greek and Mediterranean restaurants in town, and the combination of the food, the prices, and the atmosphere will bring us back here again.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Prompt and friendly service. We started with hummus and hot dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) for an appetizer. Next up, we had gyro and falafel platters for the main course. Ask for extra tzatziki sauce. It's really good! Lastly, we had rice pudding and baklava for dessert. We saw another happy patron get the gyro salad. It looked really good. We're looking forward to going back.

The waiter spilled a beer on my wife and then rather than getting napkins or a cloth proceeded to poor the beer into a tom collins glass so it came out half head and half brew see the screen shot. We ordered apps for the meal. The calamari looked like it was straight out of a bag, and tasted just like lunch room fish sticks. When I asked if it was made in the kitchen. He told me "it is fried here" I said I know, I was asking if it was prepared in the kitchen. He said yes, which if I take him on his word, then it was just extremely disappointing. The babaganouj was decent. The taramasalata taste was okay. The warm dolmades were good. Light on the dill which we perfer. The spanakopita was crunchy because it was fried not baked. The filling in the center was refrigerater cold and the phyllo was hot and cruchy. This was on the right track because most places serve spanakopita with mushy soft crust, but the cold center was a complete let down. There is a decent Mediterranean reasturant on the other side of same shopping center. We will not be back to Santorini.

Had lunch with my brother in law. Strip Mall Location offset by comfortable interior and friendly efficient wait staff. Food was served quickly and my Mediterranean chicken was sumptuous and home made beverages were excellent as were the sides. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Frederick. I urge everyone to check it out especially local foodies. I will be returning soon.

What a pleasant surprise. My family went there last night and it was absolutely delicious. You had the feeling this was an authentic home cook meal with the traditional Mediterranean flavors . Even my picky two year old daughter ate away very happily. This is a well run family restaurant that place a lot of care in their food. Try the rice pudding.

I ordered a Gyro and was not disappointed. I also had the Stuffed Grape Leaves, they weren't the best. And I also had the "Flavorful Spanakopita" (that was greasy and tasted like it was deep fried in old oil that should had been changed a week ago) I will go back for the Gyro. The waitress was nice and attentive.

This may be hands down one of the worst salads I have ever ordered. I got a Greek chicken salad (no onions, because I am allergic). I received a salad with mostly lettuce, 2 pieces tomato, extra onion, no olives, and over seasoned VERY spicy chicken. The dressing was awful. I was very hungry, but could not stomach this salad smh
