Chaps Pit Beef

The food was great for the most part. I had the big john which was stellar in quality and size being a monster sandwich for a modest price. My dad had the gravy fries and the franchise both of which were amazing. Our friend had the habbit and a pound of ribs which were also perfect. The meat was cooked well and perfectly juicy. The reason i can't give this place five stars is they use peanut oil for their fried food and chicken which i am deathly allergic too and they had no alternative. So this place is percect if you can eat peanuts and close to perfect if you can't

Finally made it to Chaps in Baltimore for some of the mosr delicious Pit Beef I've ever had. The smoke charcoal flavor and tenderness of the beef was so good. It totally lived up to my hype as I've been wanting to come to OG Pit Beef place since I first saw it on DDD years ago. Absolutely one of the best sandwiches Ive ever had anywhere.

Fries are off, just an earthy taste. I don't think they clean their potatoes b4 putting them in the fryer Tried the beef sandwiches. This is not pit beef. It is like lunch meat, but dry. My wife liked the reuben though, so she may leave a 2 star review. I am sitting here doing the review because the food is not good. Also, there are no Ketchup dispensers. I guess they need a lot of short cuts to stay in business.

saw all these great reviews and my family decided to try it out. my moms chicken tender platter was dry and unseasoned, and I got ribs and when I opened the box it was not what I expected at all, they were overcooked, dry and and extremely hard. Not edible at all so I didn’t even finish them after the first two trial bites. My dad enjoyed his sandwich so maybe should just be a sandwich shop. My mom and I shouldve just got sandwiches. we were disappointed nonetheless
