Drake's

This place is a must eat at if you're in the area. The menu has a great variety. I had mini cheeseburgers with sweet potato waffle fries and sushi. The food was amazing and hearty. The $5 drink special was so delicious I had 2. I will take the 55min drive from my city and bring back my family for the experience. My bill was high because I over ordered. Prices are great!

My first time at Drakes won't be my last. I had the Beer Cheese & Bacon Burger for lunch. The cheese, bacon, pickles, and mustard compliment the beef burger & fantastic bun perfectly. The crinkle fries were double-crispy, if that makes sense. Our server was great during our lunchtime visit. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

Waited 40 mins to get seated which I guess is normal for a Saturday night. After we were seated and put our order in, we waited another 40 minutes to get our entrees. We ordered the loaded nachos and when it came the nachos were all soggy, and barely any beef. I ordered the patty melt which came cold, the cheese was hard and the fries were cold and soggy. We also ordered the surf and turf roll was good, it was the only thing I enjoyed during our visit.

They get my ‘to go’ order wrong… EVERY TIME! I’m giving 3 stars because I like that sushi is an option in the menu, BUT every single time I order a classic, sushi combo something is wrong or missing. On top of that, the bartenders seem inconvenienced by you just being there. Being a former bartender and someone that has to have late night food due to my business hours, it is unacceptable! If my order was done right, I guess I would forgive their hours. Just ridiculous and unacceptable in every way. ***(pictured is supposed to be crunchy roll with Shrimp. Yes, that’s tuna)

Stopped at Drake’s today for a late lunch between soccer games. There was a bit of a wait when we first arrived, an estimated 30 minutes or so. There were also a lot of people waiting but we seemed to get in pretty quickly at about 15 to 20 minutes. Our waitress, Hannah, was amazing. Very polite and quick with our food. She checked on us many times and was very pleasant. I had the Spring sushi roll and the Fantasy roll while my son had the Triple Double Mini Burgers. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food. Chains tend to be a bit boring but this food was really well balanced. I even took a bite of my son’s burger. It was so good I can’t wait to go back and get it myself. The atmosphere was very nice, family oriented but bar like. And it was clean which is always a plus. Overall, we had a five-star experience. I’ll definitely try Drake’s again but maybe in a different location. Mimosas were also four dollars today which was an added perk to my excellent visit.

Drinks and a snack with my long term mentor at Drake's Cool Springs. Fun atmosphere, but it was already packed at 5! We sat near the open garage door in the bar area. Our server was great. Just the right amount of attentive. She was aware of when we were deep in conversation and always came at a good point. The drinks were pretty good. I had a vodka cranberry and an old fashioned. She had their cucumber drinks. We shared the chips and dips appetizer, which comes with refried beans, guac, and salsa. Their quality is arranged in order for me haha. The beans were good, though obviously canned. The guac was alright (not great but not bad). The salsa did nothing for me at all, though. All in all, it's close to her office, so I'm sure we'll go back, but it's not a place I'd seek out for dinner.
