Great little spot for lunch centrally located in fountain hills. Chips and guacamole are amazing, the salsa had a wonderful flavor that wasn’t overpowering. I had a red sangria that was delicious and only got better as the ice melted. Cobb salad was okay, creole salmon tacos were also okay. The service was great, atmosphere, lighting and noise level were all excellent. Bathrooms were clean, I would come here again, have a snack and a drink any day!

Great food, good beer selection and a very friendly staff. A very cute place to grab something delicious. I'm definitely going back when I'm in town again.

Visited during the Art Festival in Fountain Hills today. They limited the menu but still had their yummy guacamole! I had a Cadillac margarita, rocks with tajin and my cousin had a Modelo. It was a nice break from walking around. Check them out! We’ve been there for dinner and enjoyed our meal. Saw a couple enjoying the chop salad that looked delicious!

Colorful, lively restaurants with a beachy religious theme. Friendly staff, handicapped accessible. I ordered a vegan taco. It was great! Flavorful, just a touch spicy, on a soft corn tortilla. Creole grilled squash, hummus, grilled portobello mushrooms, and salsa verde.

I'm not a huge fish taco fan, but I enjoyed it better than my Moroccan Chicken tacos. Very eclectic mexican restaurant - they honestly should have included the chips and salsa for free definitely not worth the $5 - they were just so-so - i would skip them if I returned. We did Sunday brunch wasnt to busy The fish (Salmon) tacos with Guacamole were delicious - I got the Moroccan Chicken wish I had gone with the beef - it was disappointing neither Moroccan seasoning or Mexican rather bland and tough chicken. Bathroom is poorly lit but unique 👌 I guess your really paying for the ambiance of sitting outside and viewing the Fountain Hills geyser -if your timing is right.

Loved this restaurant! Started off with the tostones and the elote. I had the firehouse fish tacos and my fiance had the grilled salmon tacos. Both were amazing. I would definitely recommend this yo anyone

Stopped as the patio looked inviting. The margheritas were a little on the sweet side, but went down great and we're a good size. Spinach salad was nice and they split it into two for us which was nice. Tried the pork shoulder sofrita which was excellent. A very nice spot for a relaxing bite. Eddie, who was new to the restaurant, and the others, did a great job looking after us.

This place is amazing! If you want some unique dishes to wake up your taste buds. This is the place to try! Great red Sangria if you like Sangria. On a nice day dine out in their patio street side! Side dish of street corn

We were visiting with family in Fountain Hills today and couldn't find a restaurant that they remembered. We found Sofrita instead and enjoyed an excellent lunch on the patio with a view of the fountain. We had appetizers, sandwiches and tacos and were very impressed. The Tostones and Guacamole were delicious and the tacos were an interesting combination of flavors. Two servers helped us and were prompt with refills and service. It was a sunny, cool day today and it's pretty hard to beat that combination with an excellent restaurant experience.

We went at 2 on a weekday because we were jetlagged from flying, but they took us anyway and gave us amazing food! We said it was the best guacamole we'd ever had!

Came to Sofrita for lunch on a Saturday at about 1:30 pm. As it was a beautiful day, they were quite busy with many guests. I had the salmon tacos which were delicious.

This place is cute and cozy, very small The waitress was not the friendliest person, not very attentive, but the food was really good, tortilla soup was yummy. Really good iced tea. My 1 complaint is that they don’t give you chips and salsa as complimentary. You have to pay for chips and salsa, the food is already overpriced, but what isn’t these days, also the location too, Fountain Hills. Everything seems to be more expensive there. Overall, I will go back to try the salmon tacos.

Really good food, friendly service. We enjoy our Mexican food but this restaurant offered speciality items like salmon tacos and their own take on huevos rancheros. Mexican corn, mmm.

A wonderful place to sit outside, enjoy the sun and get a small or big bite to eat. The chicken tortilla soup with avocado was the best I have ever had. The selection of bruschetta was extensive and unique—like apples and Brie, eggplant, salmon, and more! Chilequiles were not traditional ... stacked tortillas instead of chips.

You don't have to travel far from AZ to take a mini vacation to Puerto Rico. SOFRITA owner, Carolyn, has brought her home city of San Juan to Fountain Hills, and incorporated flavors of the Caribbean with Spanish tapas. We had the pleasure of meeting her today and trying some great items off of the menu. The tacos are good-sized and had generous portions of tender and flavorful chicken. They aren't your typical tiny street taco; although they do offer the smaller versions of these for happy hour, which is everyday from 3-6. Everything we had was fresh, colorful, and full of flavor. I'm looking forward to going back during the cooler months to enjoy their patio with a view of the town's landmark fountain. This is a great spot for date night and a solid choice pre/post FH event. Next time you're looking for something different with a change of scenery, consider giving them a try. Say hi to Carolyn- she's lovely!

Stoped for a quick lunch. Stayed for a great meal. The chips and salsa are amazing. The tacos are carefully crafted for each order. Topped with home made salsa that is to die for. Great service and a must see the washroom. It's a unique experience.
