Earls Restaurant

Tuesday 22nd February we arranged for a "Winter Warmer" lunch for Egerton Over 60s to take place at Earls restaurant at Wards hotel for 40 of our Members. We went there 2 years ago for the same type of event which was thoroughly enjoyed but sadly Covid19 arrived and closed things down for a couple of years. However, we spoke with the new manager Dill to ask if it could be arranged again and he, along with the chef who was there in 2020, produced a brilliant 3 course menu for the occasion. It was more than we could ever have hoped for, it was just like our own little banquet at an excellent affordable price. I have been asked by all 40 Members to say a big thank you and to tell you and especially the chef it was magnificent and we will see you again in December if not before. I can honestly say it is the first time in the 8 years of arranging these events I have not had one complaint of any description, only praise, well done all of you and thank you. I almost cried out of joy whilst eating my roast! That is how good Wards is. I am so very happy you guys are now open for takeaway and delivery, what a very good initiative from Management. Something that Wards has not offered before is now finally being offered as a new initiative to the community and we are very grateful for that, because we have missed your food during lockdown. I bet Wards also has the best chef/s in town as the roast there never fails to impress. So thank you so much tonight to both management and the chefs. And thank you for sending me the various menus for Christmas etc, they are very impressive and beautiful indeed. We have also tried your fish and lamb burgers and are so very impressed with your takeaway menu. We will order again from you next week. All the best guys.

Won't be the first time I have ordered a Roast dinner from Wards Hotel and Earls restaurant during the lockdown. The food is simply delicious and outstanding. I am glad to know the Head Chef, who is known for working his magic in the kitchen, still works here. I cannot thank you guys enough for the lovely food you make for us. I used to be a regular prior to lockdown and had missed the Sunday Roast and quite happy that for December they are delivering the festive menu, due to the restaurant being closed for another two weeks as we go into Tier 3. Thank you for catering for us locals. The restaurant truly deserves a michelin star!

Simply lush and delicious! During lockdown, this place has become my favourite restaurant for their taking away service. I would normally go there before the lockdown for their Sunday carvery but they were able to deliver the same outstanding service in November for their roast takeaway and delivery service. Well done to the new owners who have done an amazing job. Keep up guys. See you soon.

Went with sister and a friend on a Tuesday evening. It was surprisingly busy for early in the week. I ordered game terrine starter and corn fed chicken breast main course and also a pint of real ale, all were excellent. The waitress was very attentive and friendly as was the owner who personaly introduced himself to us. Particular liked the fact they served an extra helping of the sauces with each main course. Very impressed and would definitely recommend.

As a large party of 21 and with other large parties going on plus a full restaurant, we found the food and service impeccable. The waiting staff were attentive as if we were the only ones there. Thank you for that. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal with desserts to die for so a big Thank you to the chefs for there hard work too. Was great to see a hands on manager who's charisma was second to none. A very professional team working in a fantastic place. 5 stars truely deserved.
