Krystal

This restaurant is one of the worst. I had to repeat my order several times and it was real simple. 12 cheese krystals with 2 fried apple turnovers. Got informed they were out of turnovers. Pulled up to the window to get the total as per the request of the cashier. $14 and some change. Paid for it and didn't get correct change or a receipt. Was asked to pull up and wait for the krystals. The wait was over 20 minutes and I was the 4th car they had pulled up. I understand why they pull cars up out of the drive thru because the owners are monitoring the drive thru times. If there were cars behind me that would have been different but there weren't. When I got the food there was a small fry in the bag with my 12 krystals. I guess they thought this would make up for the wait. It didn't. The burgers were Luke warm and dry. Very little mustard and very little pickles if any at all. The buns were dry and crunchy. I thought krystals buns were supposed to be steamed with the onions. Hard to make a dry steamed bun. If this Krystal restaurant is owned by the same owner as the one in Daphne Alabama was, no wonder that one got closed down.

On a great day I would give Krystal a 4 star review. Some days their food is decent, but that is only when you get it FRESH. This time when I went I ordered 1 hamburger 1 cheeseburger and 2 Krystal chicks with extra mayo. I legit had to repeat the order at least 4 times before it was read back correctly. The young lady and the window seemed nice but that was about the one and only positive thing about this visit. The hamburger looked like someone had cooked it 5 hours ago and put it in their pocket and sat on it a few times. The meat was very old and the onions were burned. The cheeseburger was just the same only with cheese. Then the poor chicks...for some reason they both came with cheese even though we did not ask for any. Thankfully they did not charge me for it and it was still cold so it peeled off easier than if melted but I'm certain that it had to do with how old and crusty the chicken was. The outside was so old it wouldnt break off at first and the inside was so dry. Needless to say I think my girlfriend and I ate a total of 4 or 5 bites. It may be more understandable if we went right before closing or dead of winter but it was between 4-5pm. I really do wish they would do better though because when they good and fresh I really enjoy eating there.

I’ve ordered over there tonight thro the drive thro, after paying and waiting for my food for over 10 minutes they told me they forgot about me and they will prepare me the food. After that, the food is missing items one of them fries. The chicken tinders are fried in dirty oil that for sure hasn’t been changed for ever, I have worked for a restaurant before and I know exactly how the frying process goes. It was very dirty, not eatable and un healthy at all to have as human food. I ended it up giving it to my dogs as a hard snack instead of bone. It was the worst ever food, if you have frozen meal from Walmart It will be way more delicious.

I have eaten twice in the last 2 weeks and I can say that the lady that was working as shift leader, made sure that the order was correct and spoke to us on both occasions. She is good to speak to each customer and she is attentive as to making sure that the customer is happy with the service and the food. Krystal is blessed to have her as an employee!!! 🙂

Service was slow because they didn't seem to have enough help. Floors were dirty and there is still a must smell, even after their remodeling. One member of our party said there is a cleaner that smells like that. Whatever it is, it is unpleasant. The two workers were very pleasant and accommodating.

I went to get lunch for the family. I sat in line for 20 mins and watched to car in front of me leave due to wait. When I finally made it to the speaker to order the person told me to wait a min, Unbelievable!!! To cars already left and I pull up and the first thing you say is wait. Krystal was one of my favorite places to go but the last three times I have been have been awful. Management really needs to get a hold of this place.

The food was ok but the woman that took my order was rude and rolled her eyes at me. I couldn't hear anything on the speaker either. I'd like to add that I used to work at a local krystals as a supervisor and I understand the struggle. If it hadn't of had bad customer service and couldve heard the speaker I would've easily given the food 4 stars. Match my current salary and I'd be happy to come help.
