I am going to try to do this review from two stand points. One being from a customer stand point and another being from an employee stand point. From a customer stand point, I have had slow service and watery drinks. I have had good experiences at times but it's definitely an inconsistency issue. Now, from an employee stand point I would personally not eat there. I have seen the equipment and it is not clean. The panini presses are dirty, there is mold growing in the fridge, the oil that everything is fried in stays dark (Yes I and others have now called a health inspector). I do not appreciate being told things are homemade when they are store bought so I know customers would not appreciate that. When I am told "homemade chicken salad" I expect it to be homemade. When I am told "made from scratch beignets" I don't expect just Pillsbury biscuits fried. The fresh croissants come directly out of the kroger container to your plate. I could go on and on about the rest of the menu but you get the picture. As for anyone considering applying here, I feel compelled to warn you of what you would be signing up for. You would be signing up to run a business that is not, in my opinion and others, being run properly. You will be signing up for a chaotic schedule that constantly changes. You will be signing up to be yelled at and punished by being taken off the schedule if you miss work for A DEATH IN THE FAMILY ( my personal experience). So please, heed my warnings and avoid this place as a customer and as an employee.

The Carmel Machiatto was amazing and the praline beignets were unbelievably good. The barista was super sweet and for these reasons if I’m ever passing through I’ll go here again. Taking off a star because the service was pretty slow and they weren’t that busy and they couldn’t make what was on the menu. My kids thought it would be a typical bakery but there weren’t very many bakery options so we ended up having to drive through McDonald’s for the kids. If you’re looking for coffee and beignets though, stop here!
