Jade Cafe

We have eaten here plenty of times and usually enjoy it. We try to support local businesses as often as we can. This time we found MULTIPLE HAIRS in our bag and different dishes. We called, spoke to the owner, and he was extremely RUDE. He actually HUNG UP on us when we asked for a refund or replacement. We're beyond disappointed with the customer service and completely disgusted to find FOUR HAIRS in different dishes and in the bag. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A SERIOUS LACK OF CARE FOR THEIR QUALITY OF FOOD. I will no longer support this restaurant. China Rice in Canon City is cheaper and even more delicious. They also apparently care more about their customers and the quality of their food.

We ordered sweet&sour shrimp and orange chicken. The orange chicken was absolutely inedible. It was very dry and stringy and chewy couldn't get it down! The shrimp was alright. But my husband hates Chinese food and I rarely get to talk him in to going out for Chinese which I love. When we have a bad experience like this, it doesn't help!

Used to love eating here but the food today was awful. It was bland and found hair in it. Ordered the chicken pan fried noodles, shrimp pan fried noodles, fried rice, egg rolls and wontons. Neither entree had flavor, the shrimp and chicken were gummy and the noodles were mushy and stuck. The rice was basically brown rice, tasted old, dry, nothing else in it. The wontons were fair and the egg rolls were the only edible thing. That was a total waste of my $50.00. Next time I will order ahead at Ito and spend the extra money for the quality and flavor

Recently, my mom and I have been getting take-out from Jade Cafe, once a month. For some reason, my mom LOVEs the Egg Foo Young more here then at China Garden in Canon City. I can't complain, they both are equally good! The portions are big and the prices are great. You can easily make one meal into two.

We just moved to the area to retire 3 months ago. We had a home in Maryland way out in the country that took us 45 minutes to town. We can't believe our good fortune in owning a home 15 minutes from town now. We have ordered take-out from Jade Cafe twice now and the food is good and plentiful. They dice up the veggies like zucchini and carrots, they have given me oodles of shrimp. We end up eating on one of the platters two nights in a row. They give so much for the money. Having Jade Cafe nearby for us is a real treat.
