De Clieu Cafe

My go to destination for coffee if I'm ever near Brunswick. Their coffee is really good if you have a great love towards good coffee beans. I always get iced long black as I enjoy the taste of the coffee beans and for some summer is very refreshing. The have decent amount of cakes and other sweets available. I have only had breakfast their and it was pretty good.

I first experienced De Clieu on a trip to Melbourne three years ago and was so happy to be able to visit this awesome little cafe twice while in Melbourne last week!! The coffee is phenomenal, the menu as tasty as ever (a great selection of vegetarian options) and the juices simply mouth-watering (try the melon concoction!). We were even given a complimentary tumeric, lemon, ginger and cayenne shot which was a burst of health in a glass, my body still craves it!!!. Smiling, friendly staff, great customer service, it was everything I remembered it to be!

Very sad to have moved away from here. This was my local coffee shop for the last two and a half years and I miss it! Great atmosphere and great coffee. I mean the members of staff have changed about 3 million times since I first came in, but each time I got the same great feel from the place. On the occasions I did eat in there it was fantastic, my favourite was the 'Pumpkin Doughnuts' which I always waited with baited breath for them to bring back, but no such luck!
