Wild Eggs

It has good food but the attention to take-out orders can be questionable. I ordered often and 3/10 orders usually have something missing. For example, the buttered syrup was either missing, or it was only butter and no syrup. If management does read this review, please have a better system for take-out orders.

We had eaten at the Carmel location a few months ago and it rocked! Since we were heading out of Indy this morning we Googled to see other locations and saw Fishers was on our way. Pulling in we saw a worker outback puffing on her cigarette. Jokingly, I said, "I hope she's a server!" Well, guess what? She was. I don't care if someone smokes, but pulling in the parking lot it's not a good look. We were seated quickly and noticed the restaurant was as clean as the other, which was a good sign. We sat for several minutes and counted three different servers on the floor, but no one greeted us. When Sarah showed up she was engaging. She took her time to walk through the menu with us and made recommendations. We eventually placed our order and waited. And waited some more. Time passed and we were still waiting. Two tables were seated after us and received food before us. We didn't understand, but didn't ask either. Since I thoroughly enjoyed the country fried steak in Carmel I went with what I knew. The Angus burger was tempting, though. The food was delicious! The meat was smaller than what I remembered, but was excellent nevertheless. My wife and daughter enjoyed there meals as well. They each got the "Mad Platter" and had extra to take home. The home fries are fabulous! We joked we may just order those next time. We'll be passing through again in a few weeks and may opt to stop again.

We absolutely love this place. Any time we have decided to try a different breakfast/brunch restaurant, we have been somewhere between slightly-extremely disappointed that we were not at Wild Eggs. We have finally learned our lesson and this is the only place we will go to for breakfast (if we are in town). We have tried a lot of the items on the menu. I love all the scrambles/skillets with the wild mushroom and farmer's skillet being my favorite. I just tried their seasonal Bennie (Carnitas Bennie) and it was the best. My boyfriend loves the southwest omelet. We have had friends get the quesadilla, avocado toast, and the mad platter and they all enjoyed their choices. I always get the home fries (over the grits) and typical choose the Blueberry muffin over the everything (corn) muffin. The servers are always nice and prompt. The drip coffee is very good, but their sweet coffee is a little too sweet for me.

This was my first time here and all I can say is fabulous. Everything was hot and fresh. The service was great. The food was oh so delicious. I asked for extra caramel in my latte and they definitely understood the assignment. I was extremely impressed. The atmosphere was great. Even the menus were adorable. I only have 2 itty bitty teeny tiny complaints. 1, it was a bit too chilly 2, while our waitress was extremely friendly and always had a smile on her face, she was a bit on the slow side. However, that is not enough to keep me away.. I will definitely be back and very soon. This is one of the best breakfast restaurants I've ever been to. It was as close to perfect as you are ever going to get
