Cracker Barrel

Food-wise, you already know what it is and they will give you what you expect. Service wise, cracker barrel Old country store sucks! Long waits on everything! Waitresses walking around looking tired like they're at home half sleep, and they only pay attention to you long enough to secure a tip; you watch people eat entire meals before yours arrives! This place seems to be a shadow of its former self, but if you just want to eat breakfast it's still a go. Just don't be mad if it's lunch by the time you get it!

It's convenient!! Service was kinda slow, even when the manager seen me standing waiting to be seated; eventually I was seated but waited another 10-14 mins for a server & I do understand, this isn't a complaint jus acknowledging how long U will have to wait; so eat a bowl of patience & sip some calm b4 arriving 😉 ! Other than tht service when I did get it was kind & apologetic...food was ok, oh I must mention tht the recipe for the corn-muffins has changed!! They're not so dense anymore!!! The muffins were soft & fluffier (they were never fluffy 😔) & golden yellow & not white & bland anymore...I can say for this location; good job on the new muffins 👏

I've been here, several times. And I am never disappointed. My food, is always on point. Always. I would recommend the maple bacon chicken myself. But let me tell you about Robert. He is an associate, always at the front, ALWAYS respectful, ALWAYS polite, and ALWAYS helpful. I came in today 12/12 at 8:50. Although I was having trouble deciding he told me take my time, he would make sure I got my takeout. And that he did with a gentle voice, pleasant demeanor, and a smile on his face. He is great!

We visited Cracker Barrel about 2 Sundays ago for dinner and it was awesome. This was my first time ever eating at a Cracker Barrel. Upon arriving, we were seated in a few minutes definitely not a long wait. Walking to the table I see this big giant fireplace and was elated. I love fireplaces and have done so since I was a kid. We were waited on by a very nice, prompt and attentive waitress. We had no issues with her. We order drinks and food which took me a little while to figure out what I wanted because everything looked so good. I ended up getting the fried catfish, baked potato and side salad. My Partner ordered a breakfast for dinner and it looked good as well. This place brought out my salad and blue cheese dressing with enough dressing y'all. I didn't have to ask for another container of it. They brought enough and that was the first time that has happened anywhere because usually I'm requesting more salad dressing. That was definitely a plus. Then we got our food...lawd it was so much food that I had enough for lunch the next day. The food was amazing and very much so a Sunday meal similar to grandma's house. I'm definitely looking forward to returning to this restaurant. Then on top of all of this they had this beautiful country store that had everything you could imagine. It had clothing for adults and kids. There was candy and snacks. But the best of it all was the Christmas trees and decorations. OMG the trees were beautifully decorated with every detail you could imagine. There was also holiday themed snow globes and I've always had a love for snow globes. Goodness this establishment was right up my alley with things to see, do and definitely eat! I would recommend Cracker Barrel for any meal of the day. I was completely amazed. This is a great restaurant for a date night or family gathering. This establishment is wheelchair accessible as well. Just be careful in the store as the aisles were just big enough for a wheelchair to go down to check things out.
