Steak 'n Shake

I've recently went back to this location and each time my food was prepared really well. I think cutting out the wait staff really helps them focus on what's important. The food. I went to this location a bit before the pandemic and had a bad experience, it was dirty and my burger tasted like cleaning products. No lie. I hadn't came back since until a few weeks ago. I'll definitely be dining here a lot more with my young kids. Whatever you guys are doing. Keep it up. Delicious steak burgers again!

My wife and I have been looking for date night spots, so we figured we needed to pick a spot to take the kids out also... We've found a new family favorite! The place is clean, it's not noisy, the workers are not masked up, so you can actually understand them. The music is great. The food has taste unlike the latest Mexican restaurant we visited. The ordering was easy. Everyone in our family got full. And it's close to home. And we had a table where our whole family could sit together. Yes we will definitely be patronizing this place more.

First time back to SNS in a few years. We were very pleased with the new system. The food was hot and fresh and came out pretty quickly. The managers seemed to be hands on and the workers seemed much more friendly than before (hopefully because they are getting paid better). We will definitely be back in the near future.

This steak n' shake location is the best around. I go there frequently for myself and for DoorDash deliveries. They get the orders ready in a timely manner. The workers acknowledge you when you enter,which is rare for restaurants I'm picking up from. In 50+ deliveries, I've only had one order that was incomplete. I called them about it and drove back.They closed about 2 minutes after I got the food. They were so nice about it. This is one place I love to pick up.from and eat at.

A different experience for a different era... first time going inside a SnS since COVID. A late night bite made this one of the few options that was open at 10:30pm. Didn't expect having to order from a kiosk before sitting down, but it allowed us to pick out exactly what we wanted. We were just about the only customers in the place so the wait wasn't too long and the food quality was pretty good.

Steak N Shake has went to full kiosk ordering when dining in, even in cases where you prefer to at least place your order with a real person. Instead they offer to "teach you to use the kiosk." The problem was not me not knowing how to use a kiosk (although the order system was clumsy and poorly designed), the problem was that the option was not even on the kiosk (sub swiss cheese). So after having to make sure the special order was relayed to three different people to the cook, the order was still wrong. Would have been easier, less time consuming, and a better experience just ordering from a person. After 40+ years, it was my last meal at Steak n Shake.

The wife and I went here about 45 mins before they closed. Peeps where friendly and food was good. They actually waited to make my shake until right before i got to the window. Not like other stake n shake places where the one person making shakes makes it right when you order it and then it sits there for the 20 mins before you get to the window. Then the person working the window has been looking at the shake for so long they think it’s a decoration so they forget to give it to you when you do get the window.
