Vip Room

I ordered catering from VIP Room for a work-related office event last week. The food looked really good and tasted delicious! Everyone at the event was a fan of the food and service, especially of the Layered Taco Dip and the Steak Chimichurri Crostinis. The food arrived on time and the setup was fast and perfectly organized. The manager and staff were very professional, helpful, and friendly to work with. I definitely recommend VIP for catering and will be a customer again in the future.

Ate here for the first time ever recently after living in Fargo my whole life. What a disappointment. The fettuccine red pepper shrimp was about as generic/bland tasting as food gets. Fiance had the breaded pork sandwich which actually had decent flavor, but the sweet potato fries were nothing special. Other friend had soup and didn't care for it either. Plenty of very good places to eat in FM area and this is not one of em.

The Vip room or as it is otherwise known VIP Catering is a wonderful place for Lunch. The menu is new each day, but with a flair for choices in a small menu. The sandwiches are freshly made. My soup was obviously homemade. Tomato basil. My friends had the seafood Quiche. It was flavorful. I can't say enough good things about this gem of a place.

Went for Easter lunch. Food was mediocre. Overcooked vegetables, brown rice that seemed cooked and spooned right out of the pan without seasoning, blackberry ginger hoisin pork tenderloin which at best had blackberry flavor, which was ok, but I was expecting to detect the other flavors listed. Honestly not what I would expect for $20 a plate. Dessert was ok, coconut cake had good flavor but the frosting was generically sweet. A friend ordered the creme brulee, which appeared to have been bruleed and then put back in the fridge overnight, was unimpressed as well. Ambiance of a grandma's 1960s basement. Not my style and that's fine. Light fixtures without bulbs in them over the tables is concerning to me... Though I didn't check to see if they were live, I think it's best to assume they are.
