My wife called in to make an order for pick up and they said they weren’t taking orders because the kitchen was “to busy” when I asked to speak to the manager, the manager refused to come to the phone. Apparently my business wasn’t good enough for you. I’ll be reviewing on Yelp as well as tell everyone I know not to eat there.

We really enjoy Mesa 21 and obviously want to support local businesses. We ordered dinner tonight and my husband went in to pick it up. A gentleman that works at the restaurant (maybe owner, I’m not sure) was walking around without his mask all around talking with everyone and then in the kitchen without a mask while food is being prepared. My husband mentioned it to the wait staff and not one manger came to talk with my husband or even say sorry. Needless to say we did not eat our food. And unfortunately will not be eating here. We are bummed and love the food, but the risk is not worth it. Everyone has an idea of what is safe for them during this time. What you choose to do is your business, but at a restaurant I think the you should uphold to a extremely safe practice.

Mesa 21 is a dope spot, the food is consistent and pretty comparable price-wise. I ate here twice last week (busy day and slow day) and I wasn't disappointed for the most part. The burger I got was perfect both times and the fries were good. However, I did not like the pizza. I got the buffalo chicken pizza and it lacked any sort of flavor. The quality of the ingredients was good but the pizza lacked sauce and the dough was bland. While I didn't enjoy the pizza on either occasion, the burger was consistently a 5/5 on both days. Overall I think the pizza just needs some extra flavor, maybe add some garlic butter to the crust or some different seasonings when making the dough.
