For El Jinete I give 4.5 stars, just shy of 5. The place has a wonderful, clean, and friendly atmosphere. It was my birthday and I was given a delicious flan dessert. Our waiter was a very patient and considerate person and prices at this restaurant are pretty standard for Mexican food. For example, I spent $15 on a significantly sized margarita and a large bowl of bean soup (enough that I had leftovers).

Authentic Mexican cuisine, great ambiance and the service was top notch. Our server was super fast and provided everything we asked for. No delays in our order and absolutely best food we have had. Definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Cincinnati.

Excellent dining experience for party of 3. Had the Arroz con Pollo - it was excellent! Service was excellent, prices good, a nice dining experience. Will definitely go again!

I love El Jinete! I have tried every other Americanized Mexican restaurant in the area (Cancun in Norwood and Mariemont, El Toro Bravo, and Mi Cozumel). El Jinete hands down has the best tasting food. I have always received great service. My favorite dish is Pollo Loco. Is this traditional Mexican food? Obviously not. If you’re looking for that I would recommend any of the food trucks in BP/Marathon gas station parking lots. Either way the food is tasty and good value. Margaritas are weak in my opinion so -1 star for that

What a phenomenal dinner I just completed. The food was simply amazing - served hot and quickly; beer was in front of me in seconds. I am new in town and will be dining here as often as I can - highly recommend.
