This quaint coffee shop is always my go to place when visiting Evergreen. The staff is friendly and helpful. The owners genuinely care about their customers and their love of Evergreen is evident. They seriously have the best chocolate chip cookies anywhere….warmed is a must! Although, fair warning, get them while you can because they run out😩. If you love cinnamon rolls, definitely don’t leave without one. Such a great place to chill, relax and enjoy a historic setting in a beautiful mountain town. 💕.

Overpriced food poor service. Visited Friday June 3. Ordered a breakfast sandwich. The cost was $14.00 which included an avocado surcharge of $2. Okay I get it a supply issue. I waited for a while. People who came in after me were getting their food. I went up to the counter to inquire and was told someone probably took my food. When I asked how that could happen since they were calling names for each order, I was told I could get a refund. No apology just a sarcastic money back and leave offer. I used to visit MB weekly but not anymore. I’ve posted previously with same type of problems it is a cute atmosphere, so I was bringing a friend from Denver for coffee. I can’t believe they screwed up again. Last time it was oh, your ticket must have blown away. I recommend Java Groove across the street.

What was once an amazing place that stood out is now average at best - A long time favorite suddenly changed. Their breakfast used to be the best in town, especially the breakfast burrito with their homemade salsa. Now they just heat up pre-packaged burritos with generic salsa (what I would do to get their old salsa recipe!)... Seems they have moved to favor convenience instead of quality. Heartbroken it is no longer worth it for me.
