Great smaller sized pub with a good feel. Super cool staff, great drinks, especially for the price. Atmosphere is casual and fun. Food is ok. If you like dive bars but want a fun atmosphere with a fun crowd, this place is for you. And I mean dive bar in a good way.

I'm local and have been here many times as a karaoke enthusiast. After dinner the night before my birthday, I was excited to finish here and be close to home. The bartender CHECKED OUR ID AND then proceeded to tell us that she refused to serve us because of the way my friend opened the door.
This story turned into 'stumbling inside the venue' before morphing to other excuses.
It wasn't until I asked why we were being discriminated against that we were offered a free shot and apology from the owner.
I'm not sure if it was my rainbow hat or something else, but Pub 44 is closer to the mall & light rail with much easier parking.

The party I was with was fun, even did a little dancing. But the prices advertised were lies.
$3 draft and $4 wells don't equal 3/$15
Gin vodka and whiskey are well shots but tequila isn't?
$1 upcharge for a tall drink should be mentioned upfront
I may go back for a special occasion, but other than that...not for me

Two pool tables makes for a good time! Had the chicken strips and fries; it came out so piping hot and fresh that I had to wait before I could take a bite haha 😄

Two good pool tables, foosball and darts. Decent food and a big outdoor covered area. Good prices on the drinks as well
